Members of the William Joel Bryan Chapter 14 participated in the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History’s BOONVILLE DAYS today here in Bryan. Vice President Tom Henry, Historian and Archivist Joe Southern, and Secretary Kyle Jones informed and entertained the continual crowd of Texas history enthusiasts. A big thank you goes out to BVMNH Executive Director Deborah Cowman and Program Coordinator Garrett LEOPOLD for the invitation. We appreciate y’all very much.

A wonderful William Joel Bryan Ch.14 meeting of the Sons of the Republic of Texas today at Cooper’s Old Time Pit BBQ. Dr. Dale Weeks from Blinn College made his presentation regarding the relationship between Sam Houston and President Andrew Jackson and the “Texas Plan”. Also a big congratulations to the newest member Mr. Jerry W. Allen. Thank you to all that attended and thank you again to Cooper’s for hosting.
