Jason Bednar, a TVC Justice Involved Veterans (JIV) Claims Coordinator and Navy & Army veteran, was recognized with a Texas Veterans Commission Excellence Award for his outstanding service.

Working with over 120 correctional facilities, Jason goes above and beyond, often working late into the night, to ensure incarcerated veterans have access to the benefits they’ve earned.

Jason’s dedication is also helping expand access to critical medical exams, preventing denied claims and opening doors for hundreds of justice-involved veterans.

Filing a VA Disability Claim? Here's What You Need!

📋 Checklist:
🔹DD-214 (Member 4 Copy)
🔹Service Medical Records/Service Treatment Records (if available)
🔹Private medical records (if you received outside care)

1️⃣ File your Intent to File (VA Form 21-0966) to protect your claim date for up to one year.
