Wiley Wednesday: Presidents Ford and Carter at Wiley

Take a look back at one of MSC Wiley Lecture Series’ many historic moments. Forty years ago, former Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter visited Texas A&M to speak at Wiley’s 1986 program. We are proud of our legacy of bringing influential voices to Texas A&M.

The program also brought together notable members of the Texas A&M community, including Wiley benefactor Mrs. Earline Wiley, former President Jimmy Carter, Mrs. Ann Wiatt, and Mrs. Margaret Rudder, pictured at the Wiley reception.

Yesterday, we remembered former President George H.W. Bush on the anniversary of his birth.

MSC Wiley Lecture Series was honored to welcome former President Bush to our 2007 Main Program, where he introduced the evening's featured presenter, consistent with his lifelong commitment to public service and education.

We celebrate his legacy and lasting impact on this nation and Texas A&M University.
