is a recognized student organization at Texas A&M University, as well as an official Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Generation Action chapter (PPGenAction). was founded in 2012 as Pro-Choice Aggies by former students Bianca Mason, Athena Mason, and Christine Ajufo. as renamed Aggies for Reproductive Justice to better reflect our work. as a result of a funding dispute with Texas A&M, but our organization has since embraced the name. Under the leadership of former presidents Morgan Gimblet (2017-2020) and Shelby Wilkins (2020-2021), F.R.E.E. has continued to gain new members and maintained a strong presence on campus. We are a direct-action student organization whose main focus is fighting for Reproductive Justice. This movement is rooted in the belief that all individuals & communities must have the knowledge, resources, & power to make sustainable & liberating decisions about their bodies & lives. We work at the local, state, and national level
We mobilize advocates for reproductive freedom, educate our peers and communities about consent, sexual health, and reproductive rights, and support and train new leaders through advocacy experience, travel, and internship opportunities.

the election has passed by and the news of abortion-positive protections passing in various states has made us optimistic about reproductive justice activism in the us. however, texas has not changed its elected officials and therefore will continue to restrict reproductive healthcare for all texas residents.

Our Story

Feminists for Reproductive Equity & Education (F.R.E.E.) is Texas A&M University's official URGE chapter. (Note: We were previously named Pro-Choice Aggies and Aggies for RJ) We are a non-partisan direct action group whose mission is to fight for the Reproductive Justice movement. This movement is rooted in the belief that all individuals & communities must have the knowledge, resources, & power to make sustainable & liberating decisions about their bodies & lives. The human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities (SisterSong).

We present workshops, educate, table, and register people to vote on campus and in the Bryan/College Station area.

We work at the local, state, and national level through lobbying, leadership institutes, and conferences.

There is no official membership, there are no dues, everything is FREE! Sign up for our emails ([email protected]) and follow us on social media for updates and events. All members of the community are welcomed to attend our events who are interested in learning about reproductive justice, feel free to attend meetings whenever you please! This organization is tailored towards our members, we are helping y’all using your voices to impact change. Our executive committee is always taking interested folks to join leadership positions in the organization.
