I am attaching the website information to make comments regarding the I-14 Corridor which includes the Loop I-214. Currently the loop is designed to make a freeway out of Peach Creek Road or to utilize HWY 30. If this ultimately goes over the Peach Creek Road route it will forever change the character of the community along with destroying many houses. I encourage you to look at this map to see if your property is included. Currently it is showing a mile wide area that could potentially be included in the loop and if you enter your address, you can see exactly where your property sits in relation to the planned corridor. You can see comments that have already been made and I point you to the number of comments made by the King Oaks residents. We need to voice our opinions as well because those who speak loudest are the ones who are heard. Although this project is slated for 2050, with TeraFab going in and the fact that TXDOT has sufficient funds to proceed at any time, I believe this will actually happen in the not too distant future. The comment period ends October 12, 2026. Please let your voice be heard.

Go to www.txdot.gov Use search for "I-14 Central Texas" Click on "Corridor Study" page Scroll down and select " 3rd Round Open House Public Meetings" In the Meeting Materials section, select "Online Comment Map"

I-14 and loop I-214 Status

Meetings are currently being held for people to comment on the proposed corridor. On the College Station website, the proposal to make Peach Creek Road a major loop around CS is listed as planned for 2050 and in the meeting I attended, this was still the public facing date, however, with the activities in Grimes County, particularly Terafab, I don't think we can assume this is a 24 year plan but more than likely will become a much sooner project. With that in mind, I encourage you to become involved in the process and voice your concerns. This will forever change our community and destroy many homes and productive land if it proceeds.

I am attaching the Online Comment Map. You can go directly to your property on this map and see how much of it is currently included in the proposal. From there you can make comments. If the loop goes further east, it would adversely affect King Oaks and as you can see they are very actively against that route. Our voices need to be heard as well. One person cannot make a difference, but collectively our voices can.
