Camp Mending Hearts was a success! This week was full of healing, making new friends, lots of crafting, time with family, and fun! We even got to hear from some of our camp attendees and their caregivers, some testimonials include; "they helped my grandsons with passing of their grandpa. they had someone to talk to" and "My son lost his father when he was five years old and now he’s nine years old and having the college boys show up for him at Mending Hearts has made him feel as though there are other male figures who could love him as much as his dad did." We are so thankful for each and every child that was able to attend camp, as well as their caregivers and our amazing volunteers!
