Permission To F.L.Y

Permission To F.L.Y Permission to F.L.Y. means permission to Fully Love Yourself. Our mission is to empower, inspire, and Permission To F.L.Y. Roshawn Buxton (Ms.Ro). Ashley, Ms.

was co-founded by Ashley Rose Favors and her mentor Ms. Both ladies wanted to be living examples of strength, inspiration, and what we call "perservillients," to women and girls who have suffered from rare/complex medical conditions (e.g. Bell's Palsy, Erbs Palsy, Vitiligio, albinism). Despite having a rare condition called Erbs Palsy, which affected the function and appearance of her right arm, A

shley excelled through life. Coincidentally, her mentor Ms.Ro found the will to inspire others and become the best example of her own mentoring spirit after being diagnosed with a rare condition called Bell's Palsy. Ro, and countless other women and girls with similar stories have triumphed in some way despite the odds, and permission to F.L.Y. is just that : To fully and triumphantly love ourselves no matter what circumstances or health challenges we may face. Ironically, the name of our organization has taken a whole new meaning since Ashley's untimely death in 2016 from a car accident. She was 26 years young, but in more ways than one she gave herself permission to FLY. There are many women and girls who have creative abilities that we wish to cultivate using this platform. With your generous support, we will invoke a new movement of confident, resilient, triumphant women and girls. "Remember you have always had "permission to Fully Love Yourself." In loving Memory

Your uniqueness is not your weakness.
Your story is not your shame.
And your scars do not cancel your purpose.

Persevilient women don’t wait for perfect conditions to move forward.
They rise anyway.
They love anyway.
They lead anyway.
They FLY anyway. 💜

If you’re in a season where you feel stretched, unseen, discouraged, or uncertain… keep going. One day you’ll realize the very thing that tried to break you helped build your strength.

✨ Persevilient = Persevering + Resilient
An unstoppable woman who keeps rising.

join us Sunday, June 7 as we honor someone with our Persevilient Award

Dancing through fear
After 20 years… I danced on stage again.

And honestly? The hardest part wasn’t learning choreography.
It was fighting the fear in my mind.

For years, I convinced myself that people would only notice what I no longer had… my full smile. I worried they would focus on my facial paralysis instead of the passion I carried in my heart.

But something beautiful happened the moment I stepped on that stage…

I felt FREE.

Not because everything was perfect.
Not because fear disappeared.
But because joy became louder than insecurity.

And the most liberating part? I truly believe people felt my passion more than they noticed the missing pieces I was so worried about. They saw the love. The strength. The story. The Persevilient woman

Besides dancing with my daughter the moment that touched me the most happened after the performance.

My daughter told me she almost cried while watching me dance because she was so proud of me. She said she could see that I was doing something I truly loved. 🥹

That moment reminded me of something powerful:
Sometimes the people watching you don’t need your perfection…
they need your courage.

Your willingness to show up anyway gives other people permission to do the same.

Lesson learned:
Don’t let insecurity rob you of experiences that still bring you joy. The world is not waiting for you to be flawless. The world is waiting for you to be REAL.

And y’all after 20 years, I gave myself permission to FLY again….PROUD OF ME! BE SEEN
