PROJECT 3114: IT’S TIME TO PASS THE BATON!

In a relay race, every runner has an assignment, every leg has a purpose, and every handoff is critical to reaching the finish line!

That’s exactly where we are with PROJECT 3114!

By the grace of God, through sacrifice, unwavering faith, and the generosity of those who have believed in this vision, we have made tremendous progress. We are now approaching a critical milestone that will allow us to close out this phase and move into the next!

But hear me clearly: WE CANNOT AFFORD TO DROP THE BATON NOW!

We have prayed too much, sacrificed too much, and come too far to lose momentum at the point of transition. The work God has placed in our hands is bigger than any one person, and its fulfillment requires all of us doing our part.

In a relay, the next runner must be ready to receive what the previous runner has carried. THIS IS YOUR MOMENT TO STEP INTO THE RACE!

🚨 PROJECT 3114 | LET’S MOVE TO THE NEXT PHASE!

We are standing at a critical milestone, and I believe that what we do in this moment will help determine what happens next!

From the beginning, Project 3114 has been about more than securing a building. It has been about establishing a place where lives can be transformed, families can be strengthened, hope can be restored, and the Church can become everything God has called us to be in the heart of our community.

We have prayed, sacrificed, persevered, and pressed forward through challenges that could have easily caused us to abandon the vision. Yet, here we are, still building, still believing, and still watching God make a way!

NOW, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP!

Over the next 24 HOURS, we are believing God for $1,200 to help us close out this critical milestone and move Project 3114 into its next phase.

THE THIEF DOESN’T GET THE FINAL WORD.

Jesus knows what has been stolen, what grief has buried, and what you’ve been fighting to hold together. When He declares, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly,” He speaks with full knowledge of the battle. Your wounds do not put you beyond His reach.

At The Church of Atlanta, we believe that promise belongs in our neighborhoods. It should shape how we show up for the hurting, stand with families, and make room for people to heal. We’re building a community where the life Jesus gives becomes visible through the love we practice.

GEORGIA, TOMORROW IS THE DEADLINE. Monday, October 5, is the last day to register to vote for the November 3 general election, and I am urging everyone who is eligible to act now. I believe we are approaching one of the most critical and consequential elections in recent history. The decisions made through this election will reach into our homes, our schools, our livelihoods, and the future our children inherit.

Our communities deserve informed, engaged people who understand the weight of their participation. Please check your registration today, encourage someone else to do the same, and make a plan to vote. Let’s carry our concern for our neighbors and our hope for the future all the way to the ballot box.

I just believe in the power of love and the possibility of change.

I hear the reasons things can’t change. I understand the history. I see the dysfunction. I’m aware of the obstacles. And when people begin rehearsing all the reasons why change is impossible, my mind almost autonomously concedes to sitting back and watching God.

Because I just happen to believe God is bigger than all of it.

I’ve learned that faith doesn’t require me to ignore what’s broken. It simply refuses to believe that brokenness has to have the final word. So when everybody else has concluded what can’t happen, I’m still willing to believe in what God can do.

Because ALL things are possible to those that believe.

We’re close. Really close. And I’m asking everyone who believes in what God is building through The Church of Atlanta to help us push Project 3114 into its next phase.

This is bigger than preparing a place for Sunday worship. We are building a space that can serve people, strengthen families, respond to crisis, feed our neighbors, develop young people, and become a tangible expression of hope in our community. We’ve come too far to slow down at the edge of the next phase.

If you’ve been meaning to sow, now is the time. If you’ve already given, consider giving again. Whether it’s $45, $90, $450, $900, or whatever God places on your heart, every gift moves us closer.

But God had another plan.

Looks like we got our wires crossed up. This weekend, we’re bringing our SEIZED Friday Night Experience to a special Sunday Morning Pop-Up at 9:00 AM ET, streaming live on Facebook, YouTube, and ChurchATL.com.

Are you in a famine with life?

Maybe it’s a financial famine, where the numbers simply are not numbering and you’re trying to figure out how to make what you have stretch.

Maybe it’s a relational famine, where you’ve been surrounded by people but still feel unsupported, unseen, or alone.

Maybe it’s a spiritual famine, where you still love God, but you’ve been praying, waiting, and wondering why this season feels so dry.

Maybe it’s an emotional famine, where you’ve been pouring into everybody else while quietly running low yourself.

Maybe it’s a directional famine, where you know God has more for you, but you’re still waiting on clarity for what comes next.

Whatever the famine looks like, do not confuse a dry season with an absent God. Sometimes the environment can look depleted while God is already arranging provision from a place you never would have expected.

I’m sounding the alarm because the need is already at our door. Families need support, neighbors need food, and people facing crisis need somewhere to turn. PROJECT 3114 is our charge to build a house that can answer those needs while making room for worship, healing, and community. I can see it, but vision becomes visible when people put their hands and resources to the work. I am asking you to sow today.
