🎾 What a weekend at The Prelude Atlanta!
🎾 The Prelude Atlanta was a celebration of legacy, community, competition, and culture. Players, families, and tennis enthusiasts came together to connect, compete, and continue a tradition that spans more than a century.
🎾Founded in 1916, the is the oldest African American sports organization in the United States. Created during a time when Black players were excluded from many sanctioned tennis competitions, the ATA became a pathway for generations of athletes to develop, compete, and thrive in the sport.
🎾Through its commitment to opportunity, excellence, and inclusion, the ATA has helped shape the future of tennis for over 100 years.
🎾This weekend wasn’t just about matches; it was about building relationships, sharpening competition, inspiring the next generation, and honoring the pioneers who paved the way.
🎾From every serve and volley to every connection made off the court, Prelude Atlanta reminded us that tennis is bigger than a game—it’s a community, a legacy, and a movement.
Huge thanks to our partners!
Stay tuned for the next event!
