We are a club that organizes, implements, and manages a community and teaching garden between the Eppley Recreational Center and the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland. We are going to be growing anything and everything from fruit trees to herbs and working with different departments across the University. With the help of some great volunteers, the last of our spring vegetables (carrots 🥕, green onions , and napa cabbage🥬 ) have all been harvested and the summer vegetables (tomatoes🍅, eggplant🍆 , summer squash, cucumber🥒, bell peppers🫑) are planted!

Our volunteers have been busy at the Community Learning Garden this spring! 🌱🌎💐🌾 We’ve also received visits from the UMD Center for Young Children, presented at AGNR Discovery and Innovation Night about the garden and campus food security, and tabled at EarthFest this past week! Volunteer work hours are from 3-4pm on monday, 3-5 on thursday, and 9-10 on saturday!
