We were honored to recognize an extraordinary leader at our recent Maryland 4-H Foundation Board of Directors meeting.

On behalf of Maryland Secretary of Agriculture Kevin Atticks, Deputy Secretary Steve Connelly presented a Maryland Department of Agriculture Secretary's Citation to Bruce Berlage, Emeritus Chair of the Maryland 4-H Foundation Board of Directors, recognizing his 2022 induction into the National 4-H Hall of Fame.

Bruce's lifelong commitment to Maryland 4-H has helped shape opportunities for generations of young people. Through his leadership, vision, mentorship, and philanthropy, he has strengthened Maryland 4-H and inspired countless youth, volunteers, and supporters across the state.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Secretary Atticks and Deputy Secretary Connelly for helping us celebrate Bruce's remarkable contributions to Maryland 4-H.
