We were privileged to be a part of JO Wilson's community giveaway. Because of all your support, we were able to hand out books and snacks to 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students in the community!

Hey everyone, our campaign has officially launched! It is with this initiative, that we aim to donate 500 books, and other reading materials, to 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students. With public libraries being closed down, and limited access to school libraries, our young scholars need our help now more than ever!! If you would like to donate, or join our campaign, you can go to www.ujamaainc.org for more information. If you are unable to donate, a repost and/or sharing this flyer with a family member or a friend goes a LONG WAY! Lets come together to and help these young scholars out!

Hey everyone! We are live on Facebook! Welcome to the Ujamaa Incorporated page! We are a non-profit organization incorporated in Maryland, serving the D.C. Metro Area. Ujamaa is dedicated to attacking the issues caused and exacerbated by poverty in the D.C. Metro Area.

Thanks to your support, our first event was a BIG success! With your donations, we were able to make 91 care packages for displaced residents. These care packages included: masks, wipes, sanitizer, socks, feminine hygiene products, and snacks. We were also able to pass out over ten cases of water!
