Progress on the Park is on hold until the weather warms up...

Aquire funding and...

1. Excavated and inspect the ground prior to tie and track placement.
2. Locate and hire a planning engineer.
3. Draw and submit plans to the city for approval.
4. Excavated and groom railbed.
5. Lay ties, rail and ballast.
6. Relocate caboose and flat car.

I may have gotten the order and/or details wrong, but this is basically the next steps.

Rail!

We recently received a donation of rail, and Robinson Sand & Gravel offered to move it to the Colfax yard, where it sits now waiting to be installed.
