The highlight of the summer is always summer camp when you’re a Cub Scout! We made lots of memories this past weekend.

We swam, fished, hiked, learned how to whittle, petal boated, shot BB guns, and shot archery. 🤍

Starting June 1, military families will be able to join Scouting for free thanks to a new nationally funded initiative by Scouting America. This new program will waive the $85 national registration fee and send military families a code to register youth online after completing a verification process.

✅ Who Qualifies: All new and renewing youth members whose parents or guardians are currently serving as active-duty military, National Guard, or Reserve

✅ When It Starts: The benefit goes into effect on June 1, 2026

✅ What is Covered: The waiver applies specifically to the $85 National registration fee

Our Bear Cub Scouts had a great time building flower boxes! 🌼🪚

The Scouts worked hard measuring, assembling, nailing, and learning new woodworking skills while creating something they can be proud of. Projects like these are such a fun way to build confidence, teamwork, and creativity!

A huge THANK YOU to Woods Run for generously donating the wood for this project. Community support like this helps make these hands-on experiences possible for our Scouts, and we truly appreciate it! ❤️

What an incredible weekend at winter camp at Camp Phillips ❄️🏕️

Our Cub Scouts spent the weekend making memories, learning new skills, playing in the snow, and stepping outside their comfort zones. From campfires and outdoor adventures to laughter with friends and late-night fun, this is what Scouting is all about ❤️

We’re so proud of these kids for their bravery, teamwork, and positive attitudes all weekend long. Thank you to all of the leaders, volunteers, and families who helped make this adventure possible!
