On February 7, 1904, Fraternal Order of Eagles Past Grand Worthy President Frank E. Hering made a public plea to recognize mother's everywhere. A decade later, President Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation making Mother’s Day a reality. For more than a century, we have been proud to call ourselves the Founders of Mother's Day.

We are honored today to wish all Mothers around the world a very happy Mother's Day!
