What made the early Church so effective wasn’t just that they preached the Gospel…

It’s that they taught it in substance.

They didn’t produce attenders.

They produced transformed, powerful, and sent believers.

The Gospel they taught wasn’t vague or surface-level.

It was built on three core realities:

1. The Finished Work of the Cross

Not just that Jesus died for sin—

👉 He became sin and took the full judgment of it.

📖 “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us…” — 2 Corinthians 5:21

If sin was judged once and for all…

Then everything that came through sin—

• sickness
• bo***ge
• death
• limitation

—has no legal right to remain.

2. The Revelation of the New Creation

The Gospel doesn’t just forgive you…

👉 It recreates you.

📖 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
📖 “As He is, so are we in this world.” — 1 John 4:17

You are not just saved.

You are now:

• of divine origin
• a reflection of Christ
• an ambassador of the Kingdom

3. The Responsibility of the Believer

This is where many stop short.

You were made:

👉 a priest (set apart to God)
👉 and a king (called to rule and reign with Him)

📖 “He has made us kings and priests…” — Revelation 1:6

You cannot walk in authority…

Without living in alignment.

This is why the early Church walked in power.

They didn’t lower the standard to match experience.

👉 They aligned their lives to Christ.

If you want to know:

• the will of God
• what’s possible
• what your life should look like

Look at Jesus.

He is not just an example to admire—

👉 He is the standard to be formed into.

The problem today is not that the Gospel lacks power.

It’s that it is not being understood, taught, or lived in its fullness.

If you’re ready to stop living below what Christ paid for…

And step into the reality of the Gospel—

04/01/2026

In 2016, during a church service, the Lord gave me a vision that I have never been able to shake.

There were several unusual things happening in that moment—
we had about nine Native American men in the service, and a man was leading worship on a Native American flute, something he had just learned that year.

In the middle of worship, I saw a vision.

I saw a Native American man on a war horse.
The horse was reared back, and the man drove a spear into the ground in the center of the United States.

When the spear struck the ground, the foundation of the nation began to crack outward from that place.

As I prayed into what I was seeing, the Lord began to reveal something deeper:

That the restoration of authority and healing among Native American people would be connected to the healing of the foundations of this nation.

I didn’t fully understand it at the time.
So I put it in my back pocket.

Then in early 2018, a missionary from Wagner, South Dakota visited our church.

As he began to talk about the Native American reservation there, the Holy Spirit immediately brought that vision back to me and spoke clearly:

“Start here.”

A few months later, in May of 2018, we made our first trip to Wagner with nothing more than one relationship and a vision.

From 2018 to 2020, we labored in that region—
hosting evangelistic outreaches, revival services, and building relationships.

We saw young people get saved.
We saw baptisms.
We saw lives begin to change.

Then 2020 hit.

Like many others, we faced resistance, obstacles, and uncertainty.

But even in that season, God made a way for us to purchase a 3,000 square foot church building.

We knew immediately: this was part of the vision.

Not just a church building—
but a place that would one day house and disciple Native American men into maturity and send them out into their God-ordained purpose.

Over the next four years, we went to work.

We built bedrooms.
Created a large meeting space.
Installed a kitchen.
Replaced flooring.
Painted.
Furnished.

Piece by piece, what started as a vision began to take form.

By late 2024, the building was ready.

But we weren’t.

The structure was there…
but the leadership and governmental foundation needed to be in place.

So we waited.

In 2025, we returned with fresh vision.

We hosted another outreach.
We gathered people.
And the Lord began to assemble the right team.

Today, we have:

• An apostolic oversight team
• Local leaders aligned in vision
• A foundation in place for what is about to be built

And now here we are…

April 2026.

After years of preparation, we are stepping into a new season:

🔥 Monthly outreaches beginning in the next several weeks
🔥 Preparing to open the doors in August for residential discipleship

This is what we have been building toward.

This is what the vision pointed to.

And the reality is—this didn’t happen overnight.

This has been years of prayer.
Years of obedience.
Years of sowing.
Years of waiting.

And many of you have been a part of that.

You’ve prayed.
You’ve given.
You’ve supported.

And now we are stepping into the next phase.

As we move forward, we are in need of continued partnership:

🙏 Prayer — for wisdom, favor, and protection in this season
💰 Financial support — to sustain outreach, operations, and staffing
🤝 Manpower — to help us carry out what is ahead

We are also stepping into new doors, including an opportunity to present this vision locally to the city of Wagner Rotary Club on April 8th.

We believe God is opening something significant.

This is not just about one building.

This is about discipleship, restoration, and the healing of foundations.

And we are just getting started.

If you feel led to partner with what God is doing, we invite you to stand with us.

WHERE WE ARE NOW

Up to this point, we have shared the mandate, the structure, and the framework through which this vision will be carried.

But now the question becomes:

What are we doing right now?

As it pertains to the vision for the state of Iowa, and specifically beginning in Jasper County, Libby and I have taken a very intentional first step.

We have begun to pray.

The Lord has instructed us to establish an altar in our home—a place of consistent prayer, consecration, and seeking His face.

Because before anything is built publicly, it must first be established privately in the presence of the Lord.

We are not rushing this process. We are allowing the Lord to align, establish, and initiate the work in His timing.

At the same time, there is an active work already taking place in Wagner, South Dakota.

We now have an established apostolic leadership team and elders in place, and we are preparing for our next step.

On April 18th, we will be hosting a Community Vision & Alignment Night—to communicate the mandate, cast vision, and lay out what is ahead.

As part of this, we are preparing for a series of summer outreaches:

May 30th — Prayer & Worship Night
Establishing spiritual atmosphere in the building through prayer and consecration.

June 27th — Community Giveaway & Ministry
Providing food, clothing, and intentional ministry—meeting both practical and spiritual needs.

July 27th–28th — Regional Evangelistic Outreaches
Boots on the ground in Wagner, Lake Andes, and Marty—engaging in evangelism and the demonstration of the Kingdom.

These are not just events.

They are strategic mission opportunities.

We will be inviting those who want to participate to come and join us. For many, this will function as a mission trip—an opportunity to step into the work and experience what God is doing firsthand.

All of this is leading toward a major milestone:

Opening for intake in August.

Our goal is to begin discipling eight Native American men through the Outreach and Discipleship Center.

This will require not only spiritual preparation, but practical structure—including staffing the house and establishing sustainable operations.

This is where we are inviting others to step in with us.

We are asking our partners to carry this with us:

In prayer
And in practical financial support

APOSTOLIC ALIGNMENT & COVERING

Up to this point, we have shared the mandate, the territory, the foundation, and the method through which this vision is being carried.

But there is another essential component that must be understood:

Alignment.

Because no work of God is meant to function independently.

In Scripture, we see that the early Church was not built on isolated individuals, but on apostolic foundation and order:

“…having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.” — Ephesians 2:20

There is a divine pattern.

God establishes foundation.
He sets order.
And He governs through alignment.

This is what is often referred to as covering.

But covering is frequently misunderstood.

It is not control.
It is not hierarchy for the sake of power.
It is not limitation.

True apostolic covering is protection, alignment, and accountability.

It ensures that what is being built remains grounded in truth, stays aligned with the Spirit of God, and matures without drifting into independence or disorder.

In the absence of alignment, vision becomes fragmented, leaders become isolated, and what is built lacks endurance.

But when alignment is present, there is clarity, strength, and continuity.

This is why we are committed to building this work with apostolic structure—not as an institution, but as a framework of alignment.

This includes apostolic oversight, spiritual accountability, relational alignment, and shared discernment.

Because what God is building in this hour cannot be sustained through independence. It must be carried through right relationship and right order.

This applies not only to leadership, but to every person who chooses to step into this vision.

Because alignment is not positional.

It is relational and spiritual.

To be aligned is to walk in agreement, submit to process, remain teachable, and stay connected to what God is building.

This is how maturity is protected.
This is how growth is sustained.
This is how authority is stewarded rightly.

And this is why Dominion Life is not just about formation…

It is about formation within alignment.

Because we are not raising individuals who operate alone.

We are raising a people who are:

Formed.
Aligned.
Sent.

This is the pattern we see throughout Scripture.
And it is the pattern we are committed to establishing.

In the next part, we will begin to share what this looks like in real time — the current stage of the work, what is being built, and how you can actively step into partnership with it.

DOMINION LIFE

Up to this point, we have shared the mandate — the state of Iowa, the significance of Des Moines, and the foundation being established in Jasper County.

But a mandate without a method cannot be fulfilled.

The question then becomes:
How is this carried out?

The answer is Dominion Life.

Dominion Life is not a program.
It is not an event.
It is not built around attendance.

It is a discipleship ecosystem — designed to raise mature believers who can carry responsibility in the Kingdom of God.

Because the assignment is not simply to gather people.
It is to form people.

Jesus did not commission us to build crowds.
He commissioned us to:

“Make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

And a disciple is not defined by belief alone — but by formation.

We believe that a mature disciple must be developed in three core areas:

Christ-like character — a life that reflects the nature of Jesus, not just in moments, but in consistency.

Doctrinal understanding — the ability to rightly divide, articulate, and stand on the truth of Scripture in the hour we are living in.

Demonstration of the Kingdom — a life that carries the authority and power of God, not just in word, but in action.

This is what Dominion Life is built to cultivate.

A Pathway of Formation

Dominion Life is structured in phases — not to control progression, but to ensure that growth is built on foundation, not emotion.

It is a process that moves intentionally, allowing individuals to be formed before they are sent.

Phase 0 — Community (Subscription)
Access to teaching, engagement, and ongoing formation through covenant partnership.

Phase 1 — Basic Training
Personal transformation — renewing the mind, consecration, healing, and learning to walk in self-governance under Christ.

Phase 2 — Infantry
Leadership development — identifying calling, being trained in responsibility, and activated in alignment.

Phase 3 — Special Forces
Discerned, not chosen — for those called to territories. Equipped, sent, and supported with oversight and apostolic alignment.

Why This Matters

If we are called to reach counties, cities, and nations — we cannot rely on momentary inspiration.

We must build people who are grounded, governed, and sent.

Dominion Life allows us to disciple across locations while preparing for physical expressions to be established as the Lord raises up leaders.

This is how the vision moves:

Formation → Sending → Establishment

Covenant Partnership

This is where partnership takes on new meaning.

In the past, support often meant giving without receiving.
But we believe partnership should be mutual.

When you sow into this vision, you are not simply funding something from a distance — you are stepping into alignment with it.

Covenant partners receive access to Dominion Life — not as a benefit, but as an invitation:

To grow.
To be formed.
To be equipped.
To be sent.

And your partnership does not only sustain this work in Iowa.

It also supports the ongoing development of the South Dakota Outreach and Discipleship Center, and the broader mission to raise and send disciples into other regions and nations.

This is how the mandate is carried.

Not through isolated effort.
Not through scattered activity.

But through a people who are formed, aligned, and sent with clarity.

JASPER COUNTY - The Foundations

In the last post, we shared the significance of Des Moines — a place of intersection, movement, and influence. But every assignment must begin somewhere on the ground.

For us, that place is Jasper County.

This was not chosen strategically. It was revealed. As we sought the Lord concerning where to begin, He began to speak through Scripture — specifically through the significance of jasper.

In the book of Revelation, jasper is not decorative. It is structural. It is used to describe the appearance of God on the throne: “He who sat there was like a jasper…” (Revelation 4:3). It forms the walls of the New Jerusalem: “The construction of its wall was of jasper…” (Revelation 21:18). And it is the first foundation stone: “The first foundation was jasper…” (Revelation 21:19).

Jasper is a foundation stone. And foundations determine what can be built.

But the Lord brought even deeper clarity through a pattern across Scripture. In the Old Testament, jasper was the last stone placed in the high priest’s breastplate. In the New Testament, it becomes the first foundation stone of the New Jerusalem.

The last becomes first.

And the Lord made this clear:

“The first shall be last, and the last shall be first.” (Matthew 20:16)

This is why Jasper County comes first.

Not because of size. Not because of prominence. But because of order.

What was last is being brought forward as first. What was at the end is now being established as the beginning.

Jasper County is not a peripheral territory in this assignment. It is a foundational territory — a place where God is establishing things correctly before anything is expanded.

Before movement, there must be foundation.
Before sending, there must be formation.
Before growth, there must be alignment.

This defines the nature of the season we are in. It is not about rapid expansion, but about intentional building — establishing disciples, raising leaders, and forming a people who are grounded, aligned, and prepared.

Because if the foundation is not set first, growth will outpace governance, and what is built will not endure.

But when the foundation is right, what is built can last.

We believe Jasper County is that place — a beginning point where God is establishing clarity, where what has been hidden is brought into the light, and where alignment and order are being set in a way that can sustain what is to come.

From here, it will not remain contained.

What is established in foundation will flow outward — into Des Moines, across Iowa, and beyond.

DES MOINES

In the last post, we shared the mandate concerning the state of Iowa — a call to “leave the 99” and carry the gospel across every county.

Now we begin to share how this assignment is taking shape.

It begins with Des Moines.

During prayer, I was given a vision.

I saw the United States from above — the entire nation laid out before me.

Across the land, I saw a cross.

One line running north to south.
The other running east to west.

And where those two lines intersected, the point of crossing was Des Moines, Iowa.

That intersection reflects what exists in the natural:

Interstate 35 running north and south
Interstate 80 running east and west

Two major arteries that carry movement across the nation.

From those interstates, countless highways and roads extend outward — reaching into cities, towns, and regions across the country.

But this was not just infrastructure.

It was a picture.

And in that moment, the Lord said:

“I have Des Moines in My crosshairs.”

Not destruction — but intention.
Focus.
Purpose.

A place marked.

As I continued to pray, the Lord brought Scripture into alignment with what was seen.

Psalm 35 — a cry for the Lord to contend with those who contend, to bring justice and vindication.

Psalm 80 — a cry for restoration:

“Restore us, O God; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.”

Justice and restoration.

Two themes converging in one place.

Where these interstates meet, and where these Psalms speak, we see a prophetic picture:

A place where God establishes justice
and begins restoration.

Des Moines is not only significant geographically.

It is significant governmental ground.

In the natural, it is the first place in the nation where decisions begin to shape direction through the caucuses.

But it also carries spiritual weight.

A place with influence beyond itself.
A place positioned to impact the nation.

What God establishes here is not meant to remain here.

It is meant to move.

Through people.
Through disciples.
Through sent ones.

Flowing outward — into Iowa, and from Iowa into the nation.

Des Moines is not the destination.

It is a hub.
A place of intersection.
A place of alignment.
A place from which movement begins.

As I continued to study and pray, I came to understand that the Des Moines metro is made up of six counties.

And where the Lord has called us to begin within that carries prophetic significance and weight as well.

We will share that next as we continue to unfold this vision.

The Iowa Mandate

Before we share where this assignment is taking root, it’s important to understand how this conviction was formed.

We have lived in the state of Iowa for the past 17 years.

During that time, there were multiple opportunities — and even desires — to leave. Different climates, different environments; what seemed like more favorable conditions.

And yet, each time, the doors did not open.

What we once questioned, we now understand.

God was not withholding — He was establishing.

This mandate did not come through a single moment of prayer, nor through a short season of seeking.
It has been formed over years of obedience, refinement, and remaining where the Lord has called us to be.

And through that process, the Lord began to make clear not just the assignment — but the territory.

The state of Iowa.

Iowa contains 99 counties.

In Scripture, the number 9 is associated with fruitfulness.
In Genesis 17, Abraham was 99 years old when the Lord established His covenant — a moment where promise began to take form.

That number began to carry weight.

Then the Lord brought us to the words of Jesus:

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?” — Matthew 18:12

This is more than a picture of care.
It is a commission.

To leave what is familiar.
To go beyond what is already gathered.
To pursue what is lost.

To take the gospel outside the walls, and into the places where it has not yet taken root.

We believe the Lord is calling us to “leave the 99.”

Not to neglect what exists — but to go where the gospel has yet to be established in fullness.

To carry the message of Christ across this state.
To raise disciples.
To establish works.
To see every county reached.

Because when the one is found, the picture becomes complete.
100.

And Jesus said:

“There is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time…” — Mark 10:29–30

We believe this is an invitation.

That as the gospel is carried outward — as disciples are raised and sent — there will be multiplication, restoration, and increase.

This is the mandate.

Not confined to one place.
Not contained within one structure.
But carried across a state — and from there, into the nation and the nations.

A New Season for Ascended Life Ministries

This season marks a new beginning for Ascended Life Ministries.

Because of that, over the next several days I want to take time to carefully unpack the vision the Lord has entrusted to us and the direction of this ministry moving forward.

Over the past several years we have planted and led two different church expressions, helped establish an Outreach and Discipleship Center in Wagner, South Dakota, and have done extensive ministry work in the nation of Pakistan.

Some of those works remain active today. Others completed their season as part of the Lord’s refining process.

Through those years — the trials, the testing, the failures, and the successes — the Lord was shaping our character, deepening our understanding of His ways, and clarifying the nature of the calling He has placed on our lives.

What became clear through that process is that the vision the Lord entrusted to us does not ultimately fit within the container of a traditional local church.

Instead, those seasons helped reveal the nature of the assignment we carry.

Our calling is not primarily to pastor a single congregation.

Our calling is more apostolic in nature — to raise disciples, develop leaders, and establish communities of disciples in territories wherever the Lord sends us.

This is not something we have come to lightly.

It has taken time for the Lord to build the capacity within us to carry this assignment — to boldly own it, confess it, and develop the character and mindset required to steward it faithfully.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”

The assignment of the Church has never simply been gathering people.

The assignment is forming people.

People who carry the character of Christ, who understand the truth of Scripture, and who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ascended Life Ministries exists to help raise those kinds of disciples.

Over the next several posts I will begin sharing more about the specific vision the Lord has entrusted to us — including our call to the state of Iowa, the nation, and the nations.

Grace and peace.
