The Town od Colfax is now accepting applications for the position of Town Clerk.

This vital role involves office management, weekly payroll, managing town records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, provide customer service to the public and other duties.

Qualified applicants MUST have a college degree, previous experience in accounting or an administrative role preferably in a municipal setting, strong organizational and leadership skills, possess the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented, excellent written and verbal skills are a MUST along with proficiency in Microsoft and Excel.

Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and able to be bonded.

Application deadline is Thursday, September 25, 2025.

The Town of Colfax is pleased to announce that the STREET OVERLAY PROJECT work has begun.

This project is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving the safety and quality of our community’s infrastructure.

Construction will include asphalt resurfacing and related roadway improvements on streets throughout the town.

We ask for your patience and cooperation while this essential work is completed. Efforts will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access to homes and businesses.
