With every passing day they miss another opportunity to grow in character and share the love that could serve as a healing ointment to the hurting and broken hearted. Our
aim is to teach those involved with Community Impact what it means to “Love thy Neighbor as Yourself” to be aware of the needs of those around them and to become a Christ like servant. There are many families in this town who have lost parents due to drugs, death, and things like domestic violence who also are in dire need of someone who cares!!! James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. We are also countering the slothful mindset that affects most lower class Americans and attempting to create a mindset in its place that is willing to work for what we have. One of the greatest benefits of serving is the joy of knowing you made a difference in someone’s life. Anyone who is willing to go out into the community and serve others can also reap many benefits for their efforts. In serving dinner to those who come around we stand firmly on 2Thessalonians 3:10. For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. In the past we have found that people tend to find a place of agreement when coming together to help those who are in need. During our projects we have seen neighbors come out and meet for the first time and even roll up their sleeves to help! We have also seen churches that were divided by doctrinal debates come together in agreement in order to help those who are in need.
