On **June 12**, Cub Scout Pack 96 and Scouting Troop 96 were honored to participate in the **Flag Day Service** at the Coldwater American Legion.

Our Scouts proudly joined the community in recognizing and honoring the American flag and all that it represents. Events like these help teach the importance of patriotism, respect, and service while giving our Scouts the opportunity to be active members of our community.

A sincere thank you to the Coldwater American Legion for hosting this meaningful ceremony and allowing our Scouts to be a part of this special tradition.

We are proud of our Scouts for representing Pack 96 and Troop 96 with respect, pride, and Scout spirit. 🇺🇸⚜️

Several of our Scouts had an amazing time attending **Wacky Townville Day Camp** back in May! 🌲🏹🎣 Old Sycamore District

Over the course of a few fun-filled days, they stayed busy with all kinds of hands-on activities, including building birdhouses, creating Pig Candy Machines, making cartoon animation crafts, fishing, archery, BB gun shooting, slingshots, tag games, and so much more!

One of the biggest highlights this year was **fishing**—it was our best year yet, with more fish caught than ever before! 🎣🐟 Seeing the excitement and smiles on the Scouts' faces with each catch made it a camp to remember.

A big thank you to the volunteers, camp staff, and families who helped make this experience possible. We love seeing our Scouts learn new skills, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We can't wait to see what adventures next year's camp has in store! ⚜️💙💛

Happy Early Mother’s Day!!

This Sunday, the Boy Scout Troop (our graduated Cub Scouts), will be helping cook and serve breakfast at Coldwater American Legion. Stop out for a great breakfast.

We had several scouts attend this at Camp Lakota, BSAC. It’s always nice to meet up with other Packs or Troops from within our Old Sycamore District.

Last month, our Cub Scouts celebrated their annual Blue & Gold Banquet—a special time to look back on all the fun adventures we’ve shared throughout the year. It’s always exciting to see our Scouts advance to their next ranks, proudly receiving their patches and new scarves as they continue their journey.

One of the most meaningful moments of the night is saying farewell to our 5th graders who have earned their Arrow of Light. In true tradition, we light their scarves (and make sure they *don’t* burn!) as a symbol that they tried their hardest on their scouting journey.

This year, we are especially proud to recognize 7 Scouts who earned the Arrow of Light which is the highest rank in Cub Scouts. Six scouts are moving on to either the Girls Troop 5135 or Boys Troop 3096.

Congratulations to all of our Scouts on their hard work and achievements! And a huge thank you to our Cub Scout leaders, parents, grandparents, families, friends, and our wonderful community for your continued support—you are what makes scouting so special.
