Last month, our Cub Scouts celebrated their annual Blue & Gold Banquet—a special time to look back on all the fun adventures we’ve shared throughout the year. It’s always exciting to see our Scouts advance to their next ranks, proudly receiving their patches and new scarves as they continue their journey.

One of the most meaningful moments of the night is saying farewell to our 5th graders who have earned their Arrow of Light. In true tradition, we light their scarves (and make sure they *don’t* burn!) as a symbol that they tried their hardest on their scouting journey.

This year, we are especially proud to recognize 7 Scouts who earned the Arrow of Light which is the highest rank in Cub Scouts. Six scouts are moving on to either the Girls Troop 5135 or Boys Troop 3096.

Congratulations to all of our Scouts on their hard work and achievements! And a huge thank you to our Cub Scout leaders, parents, grandparents, families, friends, and our wonderful community for your continued support—you are what makes scouting so special.

Recycle an old grocery bag and place canned goods or non-perishable items inside it for pick up by one of your neighborhood scouts.

Items collected will be donated to your local community food pantry.

No glass items, please.

Place bagged donations on your front step by 9am on March 14th for pickup.

🏁🎉 What an amazing time at the 2026 Coldwater Cub Scout Pinewood Derby! 🎉🏁

This year’s theme was **Looney Tunes**, and our Scouts absolutely delivered! From cars inspired by **Bugs Bunny** to speedy builds channeling **Road Runner** and even a few clever nods to **Wile E. Coyote**, the creativity on display was incredible. 🎨🚗

Not only did we see some really cool designs, but we also had some seriously FAST cars tearing down the track! The competition was exciting from start to finish, and every Scout showed great sportsmanship and teamwork.

Congratulations to all of our winners this year — we are so proud of you! 🏆👏
Good luck to those advancing to Districts — we’ll be cheering you on!

🎳 Super Bowl Sunday Fun at the Lanes! 🏈

Our Cub Scouts had a fantastic time bowling at Pla-Mor Lanes on Super Bowl Sunday! We had a great turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many Scouts and families come out to join the fun.

There were lots of strikes, spares, smiles, and plenty of cheering as everyone enjoyed time together off the field and on the lanes. Events like this remind us that Scouting is not just about learning new skills — it’s also about building friendships and making great memories.

Thank you to all the families who came out and helped make it such a fun day! 💙💛

Our Scouts knocked it out of the park at our January Bake-Off! They showed off amazing creativity with great-tasting treats, cool designs, and plenty of imagination—all while sticking to our Looney Tunes theme. 🐰🦆

What a fun night for the Coldwater Cub Scouts at Grand Lake Skate! 🛼
