The Coldwater FTC team made their mark today at the Dayton qualifier grabbing the 2nd place Motivate Award, and finishing 4th out of 24 in the robot game.
This year is unique as we are “building the foundation” for the next generation of STEM enthusiasts. We have a larger team consisting of 9 eighth graders (who are very successful FLL alumni) brought in to be mentored by our seniors and upper classmen/women.
We are building two robots simultaneously but only one can compete. It’s a pretty cool journey. Ask the kids about it when you see them!
While we didn’t qualify for state today (super close) we have another chance at the Van Wert qualifier in a few weeks.
