NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration is bringing its Space for Ag Listening Tour to Alva on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Dr. Karen St. Germain, NASA Earth Science Division director, and Dr. Alyssa Whitcraft, founding executive director of NASA Acres, will present a lecture on the NASA Acres program from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 1 p.m.
All regional FFA chapters are invited, and students will have time to talk with the NASA team following the lecture.
The public is invited to an interactive equipment session with the NASA Earth and NASA Acres teams at 3 p.m. at the Bush farm on Skyline Drive in Alva. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 2:30 p.m.
