The End of an Era – BATS 15U
Today marked the end of the BATS era for the oldest BATS team — and what an incredible ending it was. Our summer season wrapped up with a hard-fought finish at the Storm Summer Classic Showcase, where we were crowned co-champions alongside the MBS Jets after an 11-11 tie following one inning of international tiebreaker play.
These girls played four back-to-back games today in the summer heat — an incredible show of heart, hustle, and determination. After going 1-2 in pool play, they battled back with grit and powerful hitting to reach the final.
This BATS team began its journey at 9U and remained together for several years — some girls have been here since the very beginning. Over the years, they’ve shared countless wins, tough losses, and unforgettable memories. Their growth as players and teammates has been nothing short of inspiring.
While it's bittersweet to see this team’s chapter close, we’re excited for what lies ahead. We wish every player on the BATS 15U squad the very best as they continue their softball journey — whether that’s in high school programs or with new travel teams.
