Congratulations to our graduating Project SEARCH interns! 🎓✨

We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, growth, perseverance, and accomplishments these interns have achieved throughout the year. Watching their confidence and skills develop has been truly inspiring, and we cannot wait to see what their futures hold!

A huge THANK YOU to Mercer and Auglaize Mercer County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Auglaize County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, Venturelinx, and especially Mercer Health for their continued partnership and support of Project SEARCH. Our interns put their problem-solving and teamwork skills to the test with an exciting Egg Drop Challenge 🥚💡

From brainstorming creative designs to building and testing their contraptions, it was great to watch their collaboration and critical thinking in action. They worked together, adapted their ideas, and supported one another throughout the process!

A big THANK YOU to our Maintenance Department for helping bring this activity to life—and for bravely launching the contraptions off the roof! We couldn’t have done it without you!

We have moved to the final internship rotation of the year for our Project SEARCH interns — and what a journey it has been! 🎉

From those first-day nerves to the confidence we see now, the growth has been incredible. Over the past year, our interns have stepped into new departments, learned new skills, built workplace relationships, and pushed themselves outside of their comfort zones.

This last rotation was the perfect way to finish strong — showing independence, professionalism, and the work ethic they’ve worked so hard to develop. We couldn’t be more proud of how far they’ve come. 💙

As we head toward graduation, we’re celebrating not just the end of an internship… but the beginning of what’s next. The future is bright for this group! ✨

We wrapped up our Healthy Relationships sessions today with Jessica Baltes. Our interns learned valuable lessons about respect, communication, boundaries, and social media rules.

To celebrate all of their hard work and learning, we enjoyed a fun outing to Make It Boutique! It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax, be creative, and spend time together outside of the classroom.

Today was a day full of learning and inspiration for our interns!

We had the opportunity to tour Reynolds and Reynolds, where interns learned about different departments, career paths, and what it takes to keep a large company running successfully. Thank you to Molly for taking the time to show us around and share her knowledge!

We also enjoyed a great nutrition talk from JenFit & Fresh, who shared helpful tips on making healthy food choices and how nutrition can impact energy and performance at work.

To top off the day, we were inspired by a presentation from George, Julie, and Jane from Aktion Club, who spoke about leadership, service, and the positive impact of getting involved in the community.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to invest in our interns today—we appreciate your support in helping them learn, grow, and explore new opportunities! 👏

We had a great experience touring Midmark Corporation! 🙌

Thank you to the Midmark team for taking the time to show us around and teach us about the many different types of jobs within your company. From manufacturing and assembly to office support and design, our students were able to see firsthand how many roles it takes to keep a company running successfully.

Opportunities like this help our interns explore career paths, ask questions, and start thinking about where their strengths and interests might fit in the workplace. We appreciate your time, hospitality, and investment in our future workforce! đź’™
