As we approach the United States Semiquincentennial, we honor and remember the men who fought or assisted in the Revolutionary War through this special display featuring their names. 🇺🇸

The tree, presented by the US-12 Heritage Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, recognizes both patriots connected to chapter members and known patriots who lived and/or are buried in Branch and Hillsdale Counties.

This weekend, our Haitian community came together first at the Cultural Jubilee and again at the Four Corners in Coldwater to celebrate the 223rd anniversary of the Haitian flag, a powerful symbol of freedom, independence, and resilience. 🇭🇹❤️💙

We were honored to have Kathleen Bappert speak about the history of Coldwater and the important role immigration has played in shaping our community. The celebration continued at the Coldwater Community Center with food, drinks, laughter, and meaningful conversation shared among friends and neighbors.

In a beautiful act of generosity and community spirit, the Haitian community presented the Coldwater Community Center with a donation of $2,500.
