In just a little over three weeks, 70+ exhibitors will take part in the Special Hearts Livestock Show—and you guys are making it possible. We can’t wait!

As the kids, their teachers, and aides unload the buses, they’ll be greeted by Mentor Buddies and youth volunteers ready to make their day extra special. But long before that moment arrives, there is a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes.

The Fair Board guys, with the help of so many members of our community, will completely break down the show ring and reconfigure it to make this event possible. And as soon as the Special Hearts Show wraps up—just hours before the pig show—they’ll be right there, putting the showring back together, making sure everything is ready to go.

When they say, “We will do whatever needs to be done,” they truly mean it.

They step up. They work hard. They make it happen.

And they do it because they believe these kids deserve the opportunity to experience the excitement, pride, and joy of the fair—just like everyone else.

To the Fair Board, our volunteers, our Mentor Buddies, and every one of you who has stepped up to help fund and support this show:

We are truly, truly, truly THANKFUL. ❤️

We couldn’t do this without you!

🌟 We’re Counting Down to the San Jacinto County Special Hearts Livestock Show! 🌟

We are so excited to bring this special event back to the San Jacinto County Fair!

The Special Hearts Livestock Show brings together students in life skills classes and mainstream students for a day filled with friendship, fun, and the excitement of the county fair. ❤️

The highlight of the day is watching each student pair up with a mentor buddy to show a lamb or goat. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Students will also create a farm-themed craft, get hands-on with animals in our petting zoo, and enjoy so many other activities designed to make this a day they will always remember.

✨ And we need your help to make it possible!

We are looking for 30 sponsors at $100 each to help cover the costs of this special event. Your sponsorship helps give a Special Hearts exhibitor the opportunity to experience the excitement, confidence, friendship, and joy that comes from being part of the county fair.

Would you consider sponsoring a Special Hearts exhibitor for $100?

Together, we can make sure every student has a chance to participate, make memories, and feel like a true part of the fair family. 🐑🐐❤️

30 sponsors. $100 each. One incredible day for our Special Hearts exhibitors.

Thank you for helping us make this dream possible!

Another thing off the list. Another community member stepping up to bless these sweet kiddos… Called Meyer Poultry Farm to order the baby chicks for the petting corral at the Special Hearts Show. We had budgeted for the chicks but they are going to donate them!!! So very thankful. There are a lot of great people in our community. Blessed!

Oh my goodness!!! Today, the stuffed animals came in for the Specisl Hearts show. The special exhibitors love the stuffed animals. Last year they got a cow. This year is a pig. He is sooooo cute. The kids will love him with his long arms and legs and cute Special Hearts tee shirt. To all you exhibitor sponsors THANK YOU for putting the smiles in these precious kids hearts. Blessed!
