Long Cruise will take place from Wed., March 11, to Wed, March 18 at Camp Strake.
Long Cruise is a way for Sea Scouts to advance in a setting with other Sea Scouts. Lots of food and fellowship also will take place.
Spring breaks are not the same within Greater Houston, as well as in Austin, D-FW, Tyler, Abilene, San Antonio, Beaumont and other places. So, there will be two, five-day Long Cruises this year, which will start at different times to accommodate the two separate weeks of Spring Break.
The event has been advertised nationally, and we could get participants from out of state.
Long Cruise No. 1 will be Wed., March 11, to Sun., March 15.
Long Cruise No. 2 will be Sat., March 14, to Wed., March 18.
The sessions overlap for Saturday and Sunday.

The fee includes meals, a patch and all program supplies, and are:
• $300 per Scout
• $200 per adult
Sessions include climbing, CPR/First Aid Certification, rifle, scuba, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boards, a Venturing trek, swim test and zip line.

What a trip, man ✌️🎶 As Winter Camp #40 wraps up, we’re lookin’ back on a far-out week of 70s vibes, big smiles, and unforgettable memories. Scouts were groovin’ through activities, earnin’ skills, and bringin’ the good energy from sunrise to the final campfire.
