FLOOD WARNING | SUNDAY, OCT 12 and MONDAY, OCT 13
Heavy rains and tidal surge are expected Sunday and Monday. The Hudson is likely to breach its banks in the lower Village: See detailed warning from the National Weather Service, below. The next high tides are 4:26pm Sunday/Oct. 12 and 5:11am Monday/Oct 13. Residents and business owners near the waterfront should please secure property and prepare to shelter in place. Sandbag-filling materials will be available at the Fair Street Municipal lot no later than 12 noon today, Sunday, October 12.
Do not drive or walk through flood water. As needed, the Cold Spring Police Department will close roadways west of Lunn Terrace. If you do not live west of Lunn, please DO NOT drive around cones to observe flooding. Call 911 for any emergency concerns.
