Veterans day is Friday 11/11/22 we will have our annual ceremony at the Memorial on St. Marys Lawn at 11 am Everyone is welcome!

The Hall will be open on Sunday for the football game 1pm everyone is welcome we have a big screen TV and leather couches and recliners!

I tired to Register the Cold Spring American Legion as a non profit so we could raise money on here but Facebook rejected our request because we are a 501c (19) and not a 501c (3) to say I am disappointed is an understatement! The 19 is distinctly used for Veteran posts with the IRS, so I guess Facebook doesn't support Veterans? We really need to do better for our Veterans! Now at Home Depot and Lowes you have to register online provide proof your a veteran then download the app then log into it then find the veterans discount QR code to show the kid at the register to get the 10% discount how many Veterans can use a app on the phone? They used to just have to show them the VA Card.

Memorial day parade is May 30th 2022 Step off is 9 am foot of Main St. Parade route is first stop St Marys Lawn memorial to Fishkill Ave up Mountain ave second stop is the cemetery top of the hill then down Cedar St back to Main st third stop is Faith Church memorial forth stop at Nelsonville village green memorial then off to Peekskill Rd fifth and final stop the Cold Spring Cemetery where there will be a memorial service afterwards back at the American Legion / VFW Hall 10 Cedar St we will have Hot Dogs for the marchers!
