Thank you all!

We’ll get y’all pics and times and stuff shortly, but for now, a day off.

But first a huge thank you to all the volunteers, competitors, runners, walkers, friends, observers, and especially our families who support us taking time away from home.

🐾🐾

PS: yeah, it was 2 miles 😬

Everyone can do Iron Dog. 😂

Some fall, get back up, and keep going.

Then there are those who fall… get up… and immediately fall again. 😂

The obstacle said, “Not so fast.” 🐾💀

We may have been doing this obstacle wrong. Should the human go through and the dog go over?

We’re trying something a little informal this year—a Gear Swap!

We all have closets full of gear we no longer use, so bring what you have to share and take what you need. It’s a great chance to pass along gear that still has plenty of life left in it!

We’ll have separate areas for police gear and civilian gear to help keep things organized.

Gettin ready……

We’re just a few weeks away, course set up is in the works, but the first step is determining the route. We have some ideas where it’s going this year…

09/12/2026

We were recently made aware of another event circulating with an oddly familiar name and concept, taking place after this year’s Iron Dog.

We just wanted to make sure our Iron Dog community is aware, especially with the similarities in the event name and concept.

We’re proud of the event we’ve built and the amazing community that continues to support it year after year. ❤️🐾
