MSMYF community,
As sent in an Email on Wed, Oct 27, 2021, We have open board positions that need to be filled for the upcoming season. Elections will be held by secret ballot, the appointed positions will follow after election results are compiled, on Jan 27, 2021, at The Onion (7522 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99208) At 6 pm, the meeting is open to the public as always.
The Following Positions are to be elected by secret ballot administered by Eliana Rosales as directed by Bill Boyd (President).
Treasurer (Vacated) Nomination pending
Football Commissioner (Vacated) Nomination pending
Area Coordinator (Vacated) Nomination pending
Head of Development & Fundraising (Vacant) Mandatory Position per Bylaws
President (Term Election)
Football Coaching Director (Term Election)
Scholastics Director (Term Election)
Cheer Commissioner (Term Election)
Appointments:
Equipment Manager (Term Appointment)
Web / Media Manager (Term Appointment)
Concessions Coordinator (Term Appointment)
Secretary (Vacated) Nomination pending
Scholarship Coordinator (Term Appointment)
To place yourself for consideration, incumbents will be automatically considered and placed on the ballot, to any of the above positions please send an email to Elaina Rosales at [email protected] with your name, Position desired, and Short Blurb as to why you would be a good fit. She will reach out to you via email within 48 hours and respond to your inquiry and any questions you have. Nominations close on 21 Jan 2022. Nothing submitted after will be considered.
Things to consider before nominating yourself or someone for a position. It is a two-year commitment for Elected positions and a 1-year commitment for an appointed position. You get free registration for a single participant. Time commitment is 1 meeting a month in the evenings and on Saturday all day during home games. Responsiveness and the ability to be at all meetings and events are paramount to the success of MSMYF.
