Please send your public comment in support of US Fish & Wildlife proposal to to protect the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. The public comment deadline is November 18.

Twin Pines Minerals has the same ownership & financiers as our Colbert GA neighbor, Georgia Renewable Power Biomass Plant. These companies care only about profit-not the health of people or the environment!

Thanks!

We must prevent a proposed mine that could jeopardize the Okefenokee Swamp.

Protect the Okefenokee! Please sign up to attend the EPD Zoom public hearing on March 5, 6PM

Do you know that Twin Pines Minerals and Georgia Renewable Power are owned and financed by the same people? The companies have VERY BAD environmental records.

Or send your public comment to the EPD by April 9.

GA EPD is hosting a public hearing on Tuesday March 5 at 6:00p to hear from the YOU regarding the proposed mining on Trail Ridge. They have maxed out the session at 1,000 people so let's be sure to get that many people to attend. You can talk or not, but we need you to show up!

This is not just a Georgia issue even though Georgia has the final say. The St. Marys River and Okefenokee Swamp belong to both states and impacts from the mine will affect everyone who loves both of our black water beauties!

Meeting is Tuesday March 5 starting at 6:00p.

Registration is required: https://gaepd.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ff7nrdELQPOr0DaPwfxK3A #/registration

MCCPC Speaks out in this article against the proposed Twin Pines titanium mine and the connections between GRP and Twin Pines Minerals management.
Public comments opposing the permit should be submitted to [email protected]

While weighing fines for the mining company, state regulators open a comment period on its controversial plan to strip mine near the Okefenokee.

Madison County Clean Power Coalition spoke out against Twin Pines proposed Titanium mine near the Okefenokee Swamp recently. Twin Pines Minerals and Georgia Renewable Power (GRP) have ownership ties.

On September 27, a group consisting of one of the leading hydrologists in Georgia, local business and faith leaders, and activists gathered at the Suwannee Eco-Lodge just outside the Okefenokee Swamp to discuss the threats posed by Twin Pines Minerals' proposed mining operation.
