📢 Annual Community Meeting

Join us on October 13 at 7:00 PM in the “John Michael Michalski Community Safe Room.”

Come hear about the department’s 2026 accomplishments, learn about our goals for the coming year, and help shape the future of our community. We will also elect two Board Members to four-year terms.

Are you a community resident interested in serving? Attend the meeting to learn more, ask questions, and be considered for nomination. Your leadership can make a lasting difference in our department and community.

The department will be open for tours during the meeting. Bring your questions, meet the men and women who serve our community, and see firsthand how our department operates.

We are also looking for new volunteers. Whether you can respond to calls, assist with department activities, support community events, or contribute in other ways, there is a place for you on our team. Stop by the meeting to learn how you can get involved.

Can’t make it that evening? Visit us any Thursday night starting at 7:00pm during training to tour the department, meet our volunteers, and explore opportunities to serve.

Mark your calendar, bring a neighbor, and join us on October 13. We look forward to meeting you!

Thank you for your continued support,

Chief Greg Robertson

🚒 Congratulations to the Mt. Olive Fire Protection District’s 2026 Firefighters of the Year — Robby Workman and Cole Vick! 🚒

Thank you both for everything you do for our department and for your dedication to serving our community. Robby and Cole are always dependable and ready to respond when the call comes in.

Both of these guys have played an important role in helping us upgrade our communication capabilities. Robby has also been instrumental in helping move our department forward with electronic run reporting. Their dedication, dependability, and willingness to step up and help wherever needed make them invaluable members of our department.

I’m proud to have both of these men serving alongside us, and even prouder to call them friends. They are truly deserving of this recognition, and we appreciate everything they do for our department and the community we serve.

Congratulations, Robby and Cole! Thank you for your service, dedication, and commitment to making our department better! 👨‍🚒👏
