Mark your calendars as our Jr Legion Family Members are working to make this a great night as they help to celebrate Mother's Day, and what better way to celebrate than to come on out with your son(s) for a great evening. They have a DJ, refreshments & door prizes donated by local businesses in our community. Come on out & support our American Legion Post 288 Jr Legion Family Members for their first fundraising event.

Query for all in the community...

Our American Legion Jr Legion Family Members are looking at hosting a Mother & Son Dance on May 9th at our Post home in Coinjock.

This will be a fundraiser for the group as well as a great opportunity to have a function which will involve families within our community.

Is this something, you within the community will support and/or participate in?

Hope everyone is doing well!

Let's not forget our Post Family's annual oyster roast/Membership event is tomorrow from 1-4 and our Unit has always supported this event with side dishes for the meal. We're looking forward to some great sides from our members!

Thanksgiving Day is just a few weeks away. Our Post 288 Family will be providing 20 meals for members of our community. All donations can be dropped off at the Post home. Please feel free to call for any questions.

Thanksgiving Day is coming up fast & our American Legion Family is getting into high gear to ensure local families have a Thanksgiving Dinner.

We have been doing this for a number of years, and it has always been a great success thanks to the donations from our members and those within our communities.

Please help us help those in need within our communities.
