Today marks the beginning of a brand new school year, and we’re so excited for Currituck County students and staff to head back to school!

💜 Thank you, Crawford Township Volunteer Fire Department Currituck, NC.!🚒

We are so grateful to the Crawford Township Fire Department for supporting our Teacher Supply Store by purchasing much-needed supplies directly from our Amazon Wishlist! 📚✏️

Your generosity helps us keep the shelves stocked and ensures that Currituck County Public School staff have access to the supplies they need throughout the school year.

Started this summer collecting supplies donated from staff as they retired or just cleaned out closets. Spent the last few Fridays with amazing volunteers getting it all organized and turned off the lights today ready to open our doors next week to beginning staff and the week after to the entire district.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated supplies, to the volunteers who helped get it ready, the community for supporting us and Currituck County Schools for giving us this space to host it all.

🏈🌺 Friday Night Lights are almost back... and we're kicking off the season with a chance to make a difference! 🌺🏈

Join us Friday, August 21 as Currituck County High School Football hosts Hawaiian Night! Throw on your favorite Hawaiian shirt or tropical gear and help us stock the Currituck Education Foundation Teacher Supply Store for the new school year.

🎟️ Students who wear Hawaiian spirit wear AND bring a donation for the Teacher Supply Store will receive FREE admission to the game!

Everyone is encouraged to join the fun by dressing for the theme and bringing a donation. Every notebook, pack of markers, box of tissues, or classroom supply helps ensure our educators have the resources they need to support students all year long.

There's no better way to kick off football season than by cheering on the Knights and supporting our schools at the same time. 💙💛

The 2026/2027 school year is almost here! School starts in less than a month. Teachers will be back in just 2.5 weeks prepping their classrooms and ready to welcome students. The Teacher Supply Store helps support classrooms with items they need. In our first year we had over 500 visits, staff from every school in the district, saving Currituck teachers thousands of dollars.

Many school staff members spend hundreds of dollars of their own money each year on classroom supplies.

That's why the Teacher Supply Store exists.

Thanks to generous community donations, staff can "shop" for supplies they need without having to purchase everything themselves.

This year, we're hoping to fill our shelves before opening day on August 13.

If you've been meaning to donate school supplies, now is the perfect time!

📚✏️ It's almost Teacher Supply Store season!

We're getting ready to open the Currituck Education Foundation Teacher Supply Store for the new school year on August 13, and we need your help stocking the shelves!

Every backpack, notebook, pack of pencils, and glue stick donated goes directly to Currituck County Schools staff, helping them provide the best possible learning experience for our students. After hundreds of visits last year, we can confidently say that the top three most taken items are tissues, disinfectant wipes and cardstock!

As we prepare for a new school year, we're working hard to restock the Teacher Supply Store so Currituck County Schools staff can start the year with the supplies they need to support students.
