Currituck County Schools, in partnership with the Currituck Education Foundation Inc. and Currituck Chamber of Commerce, invites our families, staff, community members, and community partners to join us for the 2026 State of the Schools!

Join us as we share the work happening across Currituck County Schools, highlight district accomplishments, and look ahead to the opportunities and priorities shaping our future.

Nuts & Buds is coordinating a Back-to-School Refresh Supply Drive benefiting the Currituck Education Foundation Inc. Teacher Supply Store, and we’re excited to help kick off the collection at the THRIVE-Health & Wellness presented by Mountaineer Home Medical TOMORROW!

Bring a donation with you to THRIVE and help stock the shelves with supplies our local educators need throughout the school year.

✨ Can’t make it to THRIVE? The giving doesn’t stop Saturday! Donations will continue to be collected at Nuts & Buds and the Currituck Chamber of Commerce through September 25.

Even better, Nuts & Buds is offering 10%, 15%, or 20% OFF your purchase when you donate select items from the supply list! 🎉

Needed items include copy paper, colored copy paper, disinfecting wipes, cardstock, masking tape, Sharpies, tissues, dry erase markers, pencils, and pens.

💚 Small supplies can make a BIG difference. Help us fill the Teacher Supply Store and support the educators who give so much to Currituck County students!

Today marks the beginning of a brand new school year, and we’re so excited for Currituck County students and staff to head back to school!

💜 Thank you, Crawford Township Volunteer Fire Department Currituck, NC.!🚒

We are so grateful to the Crawford Township Fire Department for supporting our Teacher Supply Store by purchasing much-needed supplies directly from our Amazon Wishlist! 📚✏️

Your generosity helps us keep the shelves stocked and ensures that Currituck County Public School staff have access to the supplies they need throughout the school year.

Started this summer collecting supplies donated from staff as they retired or just cleaned out closets. Spent the last few Fridays with amazing volunteers getting it all organized and turned off the lights today ready to open our doors next week to beginning staff and the week after to the entire district.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated supplies, to the volunteers who helped get it ready, the community for supporting us and Currituck County Schools for giving us this space to host it all.

🏈🌺 Friday Night Lights are almost back... and we're kicking off the season with a chance to make a difference! 🌺🏈

Join us Friday, August 21 as Currituck County High School Football hosts Hawaiian Night! Throw on your favorite Hawaiian shirt or tropical gear and help us stock the Currituck Education Foundation Teacher Supply Store for the new school year.

🎟️ Students who wear Hawaiian spirit wear AND bring a donation for the Teacher Supply Store will receive FREE admission to the game!

Everyone is encouraged to join the fun by dressing for the theme and bringing a donation. Every notebook, pack of markers, box of tissues, or classroom supply helps ensure our educators have the resources they need to support students all year long.

There's no better way to kick off football season than by cheering on the Knights and supporting our schools at the same time. 💙💛

The 2026/2027 school year is almost here! School starts in less than a month. Teachers will be back in just 2.5 weeks prepping their classrooms and ready to welcome students. The Teacher Supply Store helps support classrooms with items they need. In our first year we had over 500 visits, staff from every school in the district, saving Currituck teachers thousands of dollars.

Many school staff members spend hundreds of dollars of their own money each year on classroom supplies.

That's why the Teacher Supply Store exists.

Thanks to generous community donations, staff can "shop" for supplies they need without having to purchase everything themselves.

This year, we're hoping to fill our shelves before opening day on August 13.
