Exciting News! Amplified Voices is back and ready to inspire! 🎉
We're thrilled to announce our new mural program in collaboration with Connect Center for Youth. This program is FREE and open to ages 13-18. Students will be guided to paint a mural that celebrates diversity in the gaming industry, creating vibrant, colorful artwork that brings the gaming room to life. Participants will also learn how to incorporate wellness practices into their art.
But that's not all! This mural program is also about career development in the public arts! Students will have access to a professional portfolio-building consultation via Zoom after painting. Through these consultations, students will dive into professional development, crafting their artist portfolios, bios, and statements, enhancing opportunities for success.
So don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills.

Who is Amplified Voices?
Amplified Voices (AV), started in 2020, is a grassroots collaborative art and education initiative founded by Jade Warrick and co-led with artist Eugene O’Neill. At the heart of AV lies a commitment to enriching communities through diverse arts programming, engaging workshops, and vibrant public art. We actively collaborate with art and educational institutions, state bodies, and individual artists to weave creativity into education.
This program is funded by the Arts Thrive and Grow Grant, which is funded by New York State, Kathy Hochul, Governor. We thank Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins for her commitment and leadership, and our elected officials who represent our grantmaking region: Senators Jake Ashby and Neil D. Breslin; Assemblymembers Scott H. Bendett, Patricia Fahy, John T. McDonald III, Angelo Santabarbara, Phil Steck, and Mary Beth Walsh.”
