So far this has been a very frustrating summer. We had our pontoon refurbished and there has been one delay after another. We will be starting up trips on June 29th. We are also in desperate need of volunteers. We want to keep our program open for the betterment of not only the seniors of our area, but for the disabled. handicapped, and veterans.
My name is Barb Morrissett and I have been a volunteer for 17 years now. Let me tell you about being a volunteer: we need Captains and co-captains. Our trips are 2 hours at 10 am and 2pm, we do both fishing and just boating trips Monday - Friday. You decide how much time you want to devote, maybe a couple times a week or maybe just one day. Our pontoon will be docked at Tioga beach and we have everything our clients will need. This has been a very fulfilling venture for me. A lot of the time I have more fun than the clients do. Our trips are laid back and casual.
