Let's Go Fishing Itasca Chapter

Our primary client base includes senior residents of care facilities, support groups, assisted living, adult Day Cares, adult foster homes, organizations, church groups, mental health support groups, and individuals living independently. We also encourage families to book trips that include a senior, veteran or perhaps a disabled individual. In 2026 our goal is to reach more individuals to use our service we hope to set aside 2 days per month for this and if needed will expand to more days, There is no cost for the Lets Go Fishing service it supported through donations and community support and run by volunteers.

It is with a very heavy heart that I share this sad news. Our fearless leader has left us to be reunited in heaven with her husband and her beloved Gordon Setter DeeDee. Our chapter will not be the same without her

Beverly Ann Taylor, age 78, of Cohasset, MN died Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, MN surrounded by her family. What a great day we had with the Itasca Friendship Club on Thursday. Almost 40 people gathered for a picnic and then rides on 3 pontoons (ours included) around Tioga Bay. We got to see an eagle perched on the small island and several loons on the lake. We love doing these trips.

Today our residents enjoyed a fantastic day out on the water with Let’s Go Fishing Itasca! The weather was perfect, company was even better, and the fish were definitely biting!🎣 Smiles, sunshine and plenty of great catches made it a day to remember on Pokegama Lake.

A huge thank you to Let’s Go Fishing Itasca for making this special outing possible!

Our organization is looking for new board members, they do not necessarily need to be members.
