And just like that, summer 2026 has come to a close. 🩵 Today the cabins are empty, the pool is still, and the air is quiet. But what a wonderful summer we had at camp!
To our staff- you’ve truly made this summer magical. Thank you for all the work, all the hours, all the crazy special day costumes, and every way you assisted in making our campers’ summers a little bit better.
To our campers- thank you for continuing to return to camp! Everything we do here at camp is for you. We hope to see you again next year!
To our parents- thank you for sending your kids to Wapsie. Your support means the world to all of our staff!
We’d also like to give a special shout out to all the people who came out to camp and volunteered their time this summer. No matter if it was in the kitchen, in a cabin, or random projects around camp, this summer couldn’t have happened without you!
Even though the summer is over, we’ll keep all of these memories close in our hearts. After all, this is goodnight and not goodbye!
