FRIENDS OF THE MANSION!

Interested in joining FRIENDS OF THE MANSION?

Members of FRIENDS OF THE MANSION share a dedication to maintain and restore our historic national treasure, the Brown Mansion. Their goal is to preserve the Mansion, its collections, and grounds for both present and future generations.

Friends help keep this historic home vibrant through volunteer efforts, special events, and community support. The FRIENDS OF THE MANSION host a variety of activities throughout the year at the Brown Mansion, including:

~ Meat at the Mansion | BBQ on the Brown Mansion grounds
~ Violet’s Birthday Party | A fancy tea party honoring Violet Kohler Brown
~ Christmas Teas | New this year
~ Tea Parties | Celebrating special occasions
~ Monthly Meetings | Featuring programs and demonstrations from local individuals and businesses. Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month, March through October. Check back soon for this year’s program schedule!

Memberships are annual and are a wonderful way to show your love for local history. Check out the brochure and learn more about the FRIENDS OF THE MANSION!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

If you are able to come volunteer on Saturday 12/20 or Sunday 12/21, from 5pm to 8:30pm, please let me know!

The main tasks needed are to make sure the Mansion is safe and secure and help guests with pictures, small tidbits of knowledge, and to enjoy the beautiful Mansion!

Our Annual Dinner is December 7th at 5:00pm. The dinner is Potluck, with the meat provided, so please bring a side dish or dessert!

We will also use this dinner as a way to collect dues for 2025. Dues are $25 for singles, and $45 for couples.
