THE BUILDER GENERATION IS RISING AND THEY CARRY AN ANOINTING THAT PREVIOUS GENERATIONS ONLY GLIMPSED.

Haggai 2:9 says the glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place I will give peace.

Greater. The latter house... the house being built now... carries a greater glory than what was built before. That is not a suggestion. That is a prophetic declaration from the mouth of God.

The builder generation rising right now has access to the accumulated wisdom of every move of God that preceded them. The Azusa Street outpouring. The healing revivals. The charismatic renewal. The Word of Faith movement. The prophetic movement. The apostolic reformation.

Every move deposited something. And the builder generation gets to build with all of it.

Zerubbabel was tasked with rebuilding the temple after it lay in ruins for decades. Zechariah 4:9 says his hands have laid the foundation of this house and his hands shall also complete it. The one who starts the build is the one who finishes it.

God does not raise up builders to abandon their assignment halfway through. He raises up builders to see it through to completion. To lay the foundation and put on the capstone. To begin in the Spirit and finish in the Spirit without collapsing into the flesh in the middle.

If you are a builder in this generation... you were born for this moment. The assignment on your life did not arrive by accident. God prepared you before the foundation of the world for the specific building assignment He has placed in your hands.

Do not shrink back. Do not compare your building to someone else's. Stay on your blueprint and build.

Our response is a reflection of who we are, not the other person.
We may have the right to re-act in an unkind way, but what does that say about our nature and character. Sometimes it reveals something that we thought we have dealt with, something that we have conquered. Attacks against the flesh have a way of bringing the "old man" back to life.
Our ability to remain kind even when we have every reason not too begins well before we are in a situation to have to make that decision. It is established in our prayer time, in our quiet time with the Lord. It is in that time of renewing our mind and solidifying our foundation that allows us to act and not to react.
It only takes one moment of allowing the flesh to rule us to ruin years of testimony. Yes, we all fall short, and yes, we all fail from time to time, but in a brief moment that fall can be more that we could have ever imagined.
One day, maybe years down the road, that one moment of remaining kind could be the moment that actually changed someone else's heart. Or that one brief moment of failure could be that same person's justification to not.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

When we just down right raw and truthful with God.
It does not have to be some fancy worded, holy than thou sounding prayer. Sometimes it is just saying, "God I'm tired and I need some help". Simple as that.
Instead of reading the grocery list of all of the things we would like to have. Instead of looking for the bless me, bless me statements, how about just tell God "I am really having a rough time about now".
Why does it sometimes seem like we can't just be honest with God about it. He already knows. He sees our situation, our condition. He understands where we are.
As a parent, don't we want our children to come and let us know when they are hurting, when they have a real need? That is when we want to hold them, love on them, make things better.
We have a Father in heaven that feels the same way about His children.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

One of the greatest things we can be is teachable. When we think we know it all, when we can't be taught, then we have made ourselves an idol.
The word tells us to "to study to show ourselves approved", but no where does it ever say we will have every answer. As a matter of fact, the Apostle Paul even made the statement "not that I have arrived..."
Now here is the one who wrote 2/3 of the New Testament, the one who sang Hymns and gave praise while bound in prison, the one who said he was the Pharisee of all Pharisees, that had a personal encounter with Christ, yet he said he was "still pressing on toward the goal".
If Paul knew that he was still lacking in knowledge, how self-righteous would it be of us to think we have it all figured out? If we really want to be a threat to enemies camp, then we need to continue to learn, continue to grow, continue to discover the deeper things of God.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

I don't have all of the answers, but I believe in the One that I know does.
What that does mean is that I don't even have to understand the answer to walk in faith towards where He is taking me. I don't have to know the outcome before I start going that direction, because He only plans good for me. Even in the middle when the circumstances look, lets say less that optimal, I know He has the successful ending in the works.
That is what faith is. It is believing, not because you can see it, but because you trust in the one who said it. Growing up as a child, if your father told you that you were going to the beach for summer vacation, you had an excitement of expectation even in January and February when you didn't see a path towards the beach, but you trusted in the one who told you that is was coming.
Matthew 7:11 (MSG) "You are at least decent to your own children. So don't you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?"
So why do I trust in God? Because He said it and I believe it!
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Why is our testimony important?
Because we tend to have short term memory.
When we give thanks for what God has done in our lives, when we praise Him daily and are thankful for what we have and for who He is, then when the next storm comes, we can walk in faith remembering that He did it before, and if He did it before, He will do it again.
Most of the time, in the midst of the trial, we have a hard time seeing His hand moving. It is usually after we come through the storm and look back that we see that He was in the whole thing. We can see where He was working, where He was moving the whole time.
So when we are able to remember and reflect on those things instead of focusing on our current circumstances, then we can walk with boldness, in faith, knowing that what He did before, He is doing again.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Like everything else, if we are not careful we can get complacent in our salvation. We can get to comfortable and just take it for granted essentially becoming luke warm.
It is easy to have "faith" and praise the Lord when things are going generally well. When things are mostly falling into place and working properly.
But it is in the storm, when that faith is tested, when the trails are coming against us that we realize in Whose hand we are held. It is when we can find peace in the midst of chaos, when we can find strength when we are tired, when we can worship in the midst of a "prison cell" as Paul and Silas did, THEN we know the worth of the anchor that holds us.
It is in those times that Christ is proven to be our solid foundation that is not swayed by the wind and the waves. It is in those times we "remember" that our trust relies in Him.
Sometimes it takes a storm to remind us, re-center us, re-ground us, and in those times He proves His faithfulness.
Love you all. Have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Many think that the attacks of the enemy will be obvious. He does not generally come knocking on the front door wearing a red suit, pointy tail, horns and a pitchfork. He looks for the slightest cracks in the foundation. He is not expecting a wide open door, he squeezes in the weak spots that have become unattended to.
Remember, Satan is a snake. He only needs a small opening to weave his way in. Areas that have become weak, neglected, compromised give him access and the next thing we know, he is full blown in the middle of our space.
As we begin a new month, let us that this mile-marker to check for cracks. A time to reflect and see if there are any areas that we have dropped our guard and left the snake an opening. Let us make sure the foundation is secure and then continue to build on it.
Happy New Month. Love you all. May God richly bless you in it and may it be your greatest and most prosperous (in all areas, not just money) so far. In Jesus name. Amen.

I am grateful for what God has done in my life in the past. And according to what He has done, I can only be expectant for what He is going to do in the future.
If He has done it before, He will certainly do it again.
If He has done it for someone else, He will do it for me because He is no respecter of persons.
He has given His children promises and He is not a man that He can lie, so when we chase His heart, He is then obligated by His word to fulfill His promises.
That places an expectancy in my heart that only God can fulfill. Appreciative for what He has done, but excited for what is ahead.
Lord I thank you now, for what is to come.
Love you all. Have a blessed weekend. In Jesus name. Amen.
