Happy New Month!
As we enter the last third of the year, we have a choice to finish it out our way or His way. If I choose to do it my way, I have to remember:
1. I only see things in the short term.
2. If I do it my way, I am responsible to fulfill all of the choices in my limited mindset, abilities and provision
If I choose to do it His way:
1. He sees the long term big picture. It takes care of me now while building a foundation for the future.
2. He is responsible for the outcome in His understanding, His ability and His provision.
His way is definitely more sustainable than my way, but it is the choice I have to make. Romans 8:28 (NLT) tells us, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them".
I challenge you to put things in His hands for the last 4 months of 2026 and then come January you can determine who will lead you into the New Year.

The Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:11-12 (NLT)
"Not that I was even in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, plenty or little".
Gratitude. Gratitude for what we already have. The truth is that if we can not find gratitude living in a run down shack, we would never find gratitude living in a $20 million dollar mansion. Whatever we gain would never be enough.
If our focus is always on our lack, we will always lack.
The Apostle Paul we a pharisee of pharisees, he had the best school, the best training, the best of everything, yet Philippians, the book of "Joy" was written chained up in a prison. It is about our mindset, not our pocketbook.
When we are able to find that "gratitude" state of mind, no one, no circumstance, no condition can take that away from us.
When we have a mindset of lack, of being a victim, no one, no circumstance, no condition can ever give us peace.

WE MUST BE CAREFUL in ministry that we do not enable people to become addicted to the ‘energy of church’, without calling them to the ‘effort of discipleship.’

My prayer is that God moves in your life in such a way that no man can take credit for it. In a way that makes even the most devout non-believer say "that could only be God".
Each day in itself testifies of His glory. Just the fact of the sun rising again today speaks of His goodness that becomes so routine that many ignore. Even as the seasons come and go that are an expectation in our lives and most forget to even recognize Him in the midst of it.
May His next move in your life be so clear, stand out so much, make such an impact, that it reminds you that He is still there and that He acknowledges where you are and what you are going through.
May He make Himself so real in your life that no man has to testify or reveal Him to you, but that He reveals Himself so there is no denying it.

"And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise." - Philippians 4:8 (NLT)
Paul starts out by saying "one final thing", meaning listen up, this is very important. Romans 12:1-2 tells us about the importance of renewing our minds. Setting our minds on those things that are good, pure, honorable, excellent, causes us to focus and to look for those things. It causes us to have an expectation for good things. It makes us to anticipate something going right.
It is not just positive thinking, it is aligning us to seek out those things that are good even in the midst of trial and challenge. Paul said "I have had much and I have had little, but I have learned to be content in all things..." Paul was able to say that because his path was not determined by his circumstances, it was because his mind was set to look for the good in all things.
Want today to be a good day? Go ahead and determine that you will have a good day and then walk in it. You will find that you find more solutions to your problems, than you will find problems for your solutions. (think about that)

GALATIANS 6:9 - “AND LET US NOT GROW WEARY WHILE DOING GOOD, FOR IN DUE SEASON WE SHALL REAP IF WE DO NOT LOSE HEART.”
We live in a microwave society where we are constantly anxious to have things yesterday. Everything seems to be an emergency. Right now, right now, right now!
But the promises of God come in His timing, and I have found that that generally does not line up with our "desired" timing. It is tempting for us at times to try to help God out to bring about those things we are waiting on. There is a difference between moving forward and getting ahead of God. And when we get ahead of God, then even what He has shown us can fall apart. We will act on things without the foundation being put in place.
It is OK to be moving ahead slowly. Everything does not have to happen at a rapid pace to be considered a success. Moving forward is a success. A one mile walk can still be accomplished in baby steps as well as in a full sprint (and you may be less tired in the end).
Take the baby steps. Just keep moving forward. Each small success builds towards the ultimate reward.

There will always be haters, there will always be doubters, there will always be those who want to challenge your desire and passion.
There will always be those who desire to see you fail.
Don't let one of those people be you.
When we know our own worth, then the opinions and statements of those who don't realize our worth will not affect us. We will continue to push forward in spite of the opposition. We do not need the approval of others to follow the path set out in front of us.
Too many times we are willing to listen to the words from those we would never even go to for their advice, but we will let their words resonate inside of us. If we are not careful we will own those words and let them define us.
Set boundaries, deny access to those who would try to sideline or derail you (everyone does not have the right to have access to you), know that you deserve to succeed!
