What a great turnout for our FREE NarCan Training in Caney!

Last week, Live Healthy Montgomery County, in partnership with the Caney Valley Agape Network & Food Pantry, welcomed around 30 community members to learn how NarCan can help save a life.

Lindsey Caldwell, our Opioid Prevention Specialist with Live Healthy Montgomery County, welcomed everyone and shared the importance of coming together as a community. Dorothy Shaffer with Caney Valley Agape Network gave a heartfelt welcome and spoke about why access to this training and resources is so important in the Caney Valley area.

A special thank you to Shayla Littau, DCCCA Community Support Specialist โ€“ SEK Prevention Services, for facilitating the training and providing valuable information and hands-on education about NarCan and overdose response.

We were also happy to provide free NarCan, snacks, cookies, and plenty of local resources for everyone who attended. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to connect, learn, and equip community members with the knowledge and tools that can help save a life.

Thank you to everyone who came out and to all of our partners who helped make this training possible!

Together, we can make a difference.
