We are thrilled to announce that the recipient of the 2026 Annual Stephens Teaching Excellence Award is FKHS teacher Deja Kuehn!

Ms. Kuehn is a 2020 FKHS alumni, whose goal was to obtain her teaching degree and return to Coffeyville and to pour back into the youth of her hometown! Ms. Kuehn creates opportunities to motivate and challenge her students, while helping them see and understand the relevance of math in everyday life situations.

This award, presented by the John and Peg Stephens Fund in partnership with the Coffeyville Area Community Foundation, honors a teacher in the Coffeyville Public School system who demonstrates a passion for teaching and makes a lasting impact on their students’ lives.

Recognizing the profound impact that Coffeyville teachers and the community had on their lives, Mrs. Stephens and CACF, is proud to give back by honoring Deja Kuehn with the Annual Stephens Teaching Excellence Award for 2026.

The award celebrates teachers currently serving in the Coffeyville Public School system who exhibit a passion for teaching and a lasting positive impact on their students’ lives. The recipient will receive a $2,500.00 monetary award and recognition this May.

We are so grateful for the generosity of our donors! Because of your support to the Tennis Court Fund at CACF, we were able to partner with Coffeyville City Rec to offer an incredible tennis camp for our community. 🎾

What a wonderful opportunity to provide participants a chance to learn new skills, stay active, and build confidence both on and off the court. None of this would have been possible without you, thank you for helping us make a positive impact!

2025 Match Day dollars at work! 💚 💙 Thanks to donors like you 🤗

Update: with funds so graciously donated by the community on Match Day 2025, the band boosters purchased an all-weather protective cover for our band trailer. We hope it will extend the life of both the trailer and its custom wrap, allowing us to proudly promote the band wherever we travel! Thank you, donors!
