Our Home School 4-H club members are having a great time with the new 4-H LEGO on the farm series. We met this week and talked about tractors and how they are used on the farm. We also read a book about putting summer in a bale- by baling hay to store for the animals to eat in the winter. Then thr 4-Hers used LEGOs to build a tractor and a farm with rows of crops for their tractors to fit in between.

Our next Home School meeting will be September 14th.

We had a great 4-H Volunteer training today at the 4-H Volunteer Leader forum at Mississippi State University.

Our Home school 4-H group had a great meeting Monday. We started the 4-H Lego Engineering Club: On the farm curriculum. The kids learned about nutrition and different food groups, where food comes from and then they designed and built a lunchbox to hold their foods. Thank you to our newest 4-H volunteer Chancie Brower for leading this lesson.

Our next meeting will be Monday, August 17th at 1:30 pm.
