Our first Terrific Tuesday of the summer was a blast! It was all about LEGOs, Ships and Water! Check out the pictures below to see the ships we built and the fun we had!

Our next, Terrific Tuesday will be Tuesday, June 10th at 2 p.m. This one will be all about Bugs! We welcome MSU Extension's Entomologist, Dr. Jermaine Perier.

The Yalobusha 4-H Shooting Sports will be having a bake sale this Saturday at Tractor Supply in Grenada. If you’d like to donate baked items they can be dropped off at the Multipurpose building on Friday. Come shop with us.

🍀So proud of our Yalobusha County Modeling Squad they competed today in the 4-H Club Congress Modeling Squad Contest at Mississippi State University and they won first place!🥇Way to go Yalobusha county 4-H. 🍀

Held June 19 and 20 in Starkville at our brand new Livestock Judging Pavilion. Age 12 and up

The camp will feature 2 days of in-depth learning on all species, reasons, and even questions! Learn from both the 2025 and 2026 teams!

Congratulations to Andy Redwine on earning The Congressional Award Bronze Medal.

The Congressional Award, established in 1979, is Congress’ highest civilian honor for young Americans. The Award recognizes determination, public service, and character development in American youth.

It is non-partisan, voluntary, and non-competitive. The program is open to all from ages 14 to 24 years old.

The Award has six different honor levels that participants can earn: Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Certificates and Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Medals. Each level of the Award has specific requirements that the participant must meet. Participants can choose which level they would like to start with and can go at their own pace. Gold Medals are presented at an annual ceremony in Washington, D.C.

The Congressional Award focuses on four areas:

voluntary public service;
personal development;
physical fitness; and
expedition/exploration activities.

Andy has been working on his Congressional Award for four years through the Yalobusha County 4-H Program.
