Congratulations to our 2026 Woman of Distinction in Education, Honey Sayler! 📚✨

Honey owns Hope Education Consulting in Hayden, where she has spent 14 years ensuring every child has access to quality learning, regardless of their learning needs or their family's financial situation.

Honey also recently founded Hope.Love.Grace, a nonprofit that has already raised over $14,000 for Noonan syndrome research, with every dollar going directly to research.

Four nominations. One remarkable woman. We are so honored to celebrate you, Honey! 💛

Congratulations to our 2026 Woman of Distinction in Community Service, Bekah Johnson! 🌟✨

Bekah is a business professional at Mountain West Bank who turned personal loss into purposeful action. After witnessing firsthand how grief impacts students, she partnered with Coeur d'Alene High School to transform a crowded storage room into a warm, calming space where students can regulate emotions, decompress and feel supported.

Bekah showed up, rolled up her sleeves, collaborated with counselors on the design and made sure the space reflected real student needs. Then she left the door open for more.

Five people nominated Bekah for this award. That says everything.

We are so honored to celebrate you, Bekah! 👏

Congratulations to our 2026 Woman of Distinction, Second Act winner, Teri Farr! 🌟✨

After Teri "retired" from a successful career in fundraising, instead of taking a well deserved break, she ran for public office. She has served on the Kootenai Hospital Health District Board since 2017, currently as Secretary-Treasurer, while volunteering with the Women's Gift Alliance, Safe Passage, North Idaho CASA and more.

One of her most powerful contributions was helping bring the Children's Advocacy Center to life, a safe space for child abuse victims that exists today because Teri secured the funding and refused to let it fail.

She does all of it quietly, without seeking recognition. That might be the most distinguished thing about her.

Our community is a better place because of you, Teri! 👏

Congratulations to our 2026 Woman of Distinction in Health, Allisha Rutherford! 🏥✨

As Chief Deputy Director at Heritage Health, Allisha has spent over 25 years turning vision into reality. She helped launch Heritage's medical residency program, led a full electronic medical records overhaul and has been a driving force behind the Center for Healthy Living, which brings integrated care and provider training under one roof.

Idaho faces serious medical provider shortages. Allisha is building the systems and programs to solve that, right here in North Idaho.

Nominated by Luke Malek, we are so honored to celebrate you, Allisha! 👏

Congratulations to our 2026 Woman of Distinction in Public Service, Michaela Thompson! 🚨✨

Michaela is the Communications Manager at the Post Falls Police Department, where she has spent over 20 years making sure every call gets the right response. She worked her way up from dispatcher to manager while earning her bachelor's degree as a single mom, and she has never stopped investing in the people around her.

She champions mental health awareness in a field that rarely slows down, adjusts her own schedule so her team can live their lives and launched a regional dispatch luncheon to build connections across agencies.

Two people nominated her, including her husband who called himself "unapologetically biased".

So proud to celebrate you, Michaela! 👏

Congratulations to our 2026 Woman of Distinction in Business & Professional, Emily Geddes! 💼✨

Emily is an attorney with Malek + Malek who brings a collaborative, community-first approach to her legal practice in Kootenai County. She teaches first-year law students at Gonzaga, serves on the KSPS PBS board and is a board member of the Women Helping Women Fund, which has distributed millions in grants supporting education, childcare, domestic violence services and housing for women and children.

Her volunteer resume includes Meals on Wheels, World Relief Spokane and FaVS News. Emily shows up in the boardroom, the classroom and the community with equal dedication.

Nominated by Luke Malek, Emily proves that professional success means the most when it lifts others up. We are so proud to honor you, Emily! 👏
