We’re pleased to announce that our 9th Annual Fly Tying Competition and 13th Annual Fly Rod Building Competition are underway! Disabled veteran participants in the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing program will can begin submitting their incredible flies and custom fly rod builds as entries in these fun, annual competition starting on August 1, 2021.

My son Matt bought me a book on flies “Bug Water.” So when it showed up in mail yesterday I called to thank him. We chatted a bit. Then three hours later he sends me this picture! First fly he’s tied in ten years. My fishing buddy is back. 😁

For all members of CdA Group, we will not be meeting for next two weeks because of taking precautions over the COVID-19 Virus potential. Feel free to call any of us if you have questions on the rods you are building.

Tentatively we will look to start getting back to meeting on Wednesday April 1, 2020. We will post an update by the last Friday of March. VR, Sylvia and Mags.
