We hosted a trip today for six local first responders. Great group of dudes, torrential rain and one of the guys in my boat pulled this pig out of the water.

🖤 Our hearts remain heavy in the wake of the Canfield Mountain tragedy. The loss of Battalion Chiefs Morrison and Harwood has deeply impacted our community, reminding us of the immense courage, vulnerability, and sacrifice our protectors carry each day.

This week, we’ve had the humbling privilege to support our first responders—not just in continued service, but in the sacred space of grief. And while we’re built for ongoing care and readiness, there is no blueprint for a loss of this magnitude. We feel it. And we know our protector community feels it even more.

Spoken Outdoors stands with them. Shoulder to shoulder. In mourning, in healing, in action.

I have just spent a heart breaking afternoon manning the community donation station in support of the First Responders involved in this heinous act of violence against our protectors.

My heart broke repeatedly as I saw our first responder friends struggling and selflessly driving on in service to our community…. No words…. Only tears.

I am humbled, and touched to see our community reach out and show up with donations of all kinds. The outpouring of help is inspiring. Amazing to see people come together in this time of need.

To those of you on the front lines, we see you! We feel your pain, we feel your anger. Tomorrow we will rise, with every ounce of our being dedicated to coming alongside you.

Prayers for those who are gone, for those still on the line, and those sitting in dark places. We are here, you are not alone.

Spoken Outdoors is actively working with local resources in Coeur D Alene to assist in providing for the needs of the first responders on the scene of this hideous crime in Coeur d'Alene.

Pray for the families…. Should you want to be part of the team supporting the first responders here are a couple of options.

Commercially prepared foods, phone chargers, water/Gatorade, hygene products for the guys on the search and fire fighters are being accepted at the Anchored Coffee location on Hwy 95 and Dalton…. Jump in the car and make it happen.

You can also donate at www.spokenoutdoors.org, and we will use the funds to provide for the needs of this crew.
