Riley Bowman offers a FANTASTIC PISTOL TRAINING COURSE!
This should not be the first formal pistol training course you have taken. This is not a class intended to teach you how to draw or how to setup your gear. This is a class to teach you how to SHOOT! Ideally you will already be a graduate of Pistol Intelligence (Pistol IQ 1.0), but this is not required. You should already be COMPLETELY comfortable with handling, manipulating, drawing, holstering, and moving with your gun with 100% safety. Already having some competitive shooting background would be helpful, or at least moving in complex training environments. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Required Gear for the Pistol IQ 2.0 Course
1000 rounds of reliable ammunition
Quality pistol
A minimum of 3 magazines (if single stack, 5 mags minimum)
Mag pouches recommended (you should be able to carry at least 2 spare mags on your person–using your pocket is fine, too!)
Quality holster – No Serpas – No soft/collapsible holsters, no cross-draw or shoulder holsters
Eye protection (safety-rated)
Electronic hearing protection STRONGLY encouraged
Clothing appropriate for the range and weather
Note-taking materials (notepad/pen or phone)
Good attitude and an open mind
In Pistol IQ 2.0, we will explore visual performance to unlock greater shooting performance in more challenging shooting situations. Concepts, drills, and exercises will be taught about more complex transitions, target arrays, movement, and positional shooting.
