We are so proud to be able to continue our Early Learning Program and Preschool for the 2026-2027 school year with the help of the Innovia Foundation and the Idaho Community Foundation. Their commitment to supporting rural Idaho families makes a huge impact in our area and our ability to serve our youngest learners.

The Avery School District recognizes the need for families to have options that best suit their needs. We provide an educational setting for children from birth to 5 years. Avery School District staff is trained in developmental stages and Idaho’s Early Learning Guidelines to inform instruction and activities.

We offer full time, part time, drop off, and early drop off/late pick up options.

Family Day in the Park is this FRIDAY, June 5 from noon to 6 p.m. at Coeur d'Alene City Park!

Our Early Learning Coordinator will be on-site representing the North Idaho Early Learning Collaborative and giving away FREE children's books through the READ Up Program, helping keep kids engaged in reading all summer long.

Stop by, say hello, and pick up a book for the young readers in your life! 📚

PLUS enjoy giveaways, entertainment, food vendors, hands-on activities, and valuable resources designed to support children and strengthen families.

✨ FREE Event ✨

We invite parents to join us at The Kroc Center Cafe from 5–7pm on Wednesday, May 27th as we host Parent Cafe by idaeyc!

Parent Cafés are welcoming, judgment-free spaces where parents and caregivers can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Every voice is valued, and everyone has something to offer! Together, we’ll build connections through real conversations about parenting—the ups, the downs, and everything in between. Dinner and childcare are provided to help make it easier for families to join us.
