Camp Cross Camp Cross is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane offering summer camp for youth, families, and adults

Camp Cross operates from the middle of May through the start of October each year. Over the years Camp Cross has changed missions and focus from a clergy leadership training camp to its current state as a camp for youth, family and adults.

Labor of Love is off to a good start 🫶🏻 Folks arrived and got settled in then straight to work! We stopped to eat dinner (lasagne, garlic bread, and caesar salad) then went back to work. We stopped to pray Compline, then went to bed 🥱 Tomorrow breakfast is bacon, eggs, and melon, followed by more work! Supplies are in place for the new labyrinth. Cabin steps and handrails are getting fixed up, bathrooms and kitchens cleaned, trails pruned. Camp Cross is going to sparkle, ready for an epic summer ‘26. Sign up for camp! Www.campcross.org

Your next opportunity to come to camp is Adult Faith Formation Camp June 19-23. Formerly “men’s retreat” and “women’s retreat”, we’re diving into contemplative practices with lots of time for yoga and forest bathing. Slow down, be still, and find yourself embraced by love and light.

Labor of Love is this weekend, you’re invited! $20 gets you three square meals a day, a cabin to sleep in, and all the pets with camp dog Charlie 🐾 all ages are welcome, minors must be supervised by an adult. The new retreat house and cabins are coming along great - here's a sneak peek of the new view from the lake. There's still lots of work left to be done: finishing the siding and painting outside and in, installing the flooring, appliances, and cabinets, and... raising money for the new furniture! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we've raised $29,331! Our goal of $160,000 will cover $5,000 per cabin (for the cost of beds, mattresses, furniture, and all furnishings) plus create an endowment fund for maintenance and repairs. Thank you to the folks that came and helped out at camp this weekend - Andy, Bob, Bill, Margaret, April, Michelle, Eugene, and Christian and Cameron who worked on the new pump for the well. New water line is going in from Well’s dining hall upto the cisterns, all buried to frost depth. Very exciting! There was no running water, and we got hailed on hard at one point, but everyone had a great mindset and faithfully kept going with their duties to help get camp ready for the season, our guests, and our campers 💪👷‍♀️🧊🌊🙏🏻
