Coeur d'Alene Audubon

Coeur d'Alene Audubon Idaho’s Coeur d’Alene Audubon Chapter serves the communities of Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai and Shoshone counties, collectively known as North Idaho.

Our mission is to promote, perpetuate and protect Idaho’s wildlife – particularly birds and endangered species – while preserving and enhancing their habitat through environmental education and activism. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your tax-deductible support funds our conservation and public education efforts.

Today is World Migratory Bird
Day!

From the skies above to the lakes and forests of North Idaho, millions of birds are on the move— crossing continents, navigating by stars, and stopping right here in our own backyards.

Coeur d’Alene Audubon is proud to celebrate these incredible travelers and the vital habitats that sustain them.

Join us in honoring their journey by:
* Learning about local bird species
* Supporting native plant and pollinator habitat and reducing pesticides
* Learning about the Dark Skies Initiative
* Participating in our guided bird walks and conservation efforts
* Birds connect us across borders and ecosystems

Let’s give back to the ones that bring us so much wonder.
