I actually went to the same high school with this author. She published this book about a year or so ago and has a second on its way. I've always been interested in reading it...

Hi CDA Women's Book Club...it has been a looonggg time since we last met! I hope everyone is happy and healthy. I miss you all!

So, I wanted to just check in and take a vote/count on to see if you are still interested in keeping our "book club" going! I am all for it, but I need to see where everybody else is at. I thought we can start fresh with a new book and a March date to meet!!!

Happy Holidays ladies! So it is the 2nd week of the month...I know in my last post I said we would be meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month, BUT I thought it would be fun to have a ladies night/book club/Christmas hurrah this Friday night (Dec.14th). Would you be able to make it? We can meet somewhere fun for wine and appetizers around 6:30ish or 7:00. LET ME KNOW if you can make it by leaving a comment...and then we can go from there! Hey everyone! Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and send a little info. your way :)

To make it a bit easier to know when we will meet, I thought it would be helpful to have a set day each month. So after discussing with a few of my peeps...how is the 2nd Thursday of every month sound? We don't have to meet EVERY month...but we can at least count on it and have it marked on our calenders! So that would put our next meeting on Dec. 13th.

***Also, there was a small group of us that decided our next book. We went for a classic...drum roll..."Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte. I'm really excited to read this -- I have wanted to for a really long time! Also, for those of you that have kindles, ect. I think most classics are free to download. That would be worth checking out.
